Our sweet boy is gone.

Odin was one of a kind. He was special. There was something about him that just drew you to him. Everyone wanted to touch and love on him.

Odin was a rescue. He was a show bred dog and was bought by someone that mistreated him. He has tough beginnings. He was rescued by his breeder with very little hair and infested with flees left in a cage in the middle of a field with no water. He survived.

He never got mean or damaged from his childhood, he just loved harder. And BOY did he love. The unconditional affection and love he had for us, was beyond anything I’ve ever seen in an animal. And we’ve have had a lot.

We pulled into a McDonalds parking lot in Quartz Site, AZ in 2014. We saw Odin with his paws on this 5 foot women’s shoulder licking her face like crazy. We pulled up and said, that’s him. We had only seen a blurry picture of him, and knew he was related to our last 2 pit bulls….so that was all the info we needed. We were heartbroken from loosing them and Odin came in and healed us. He literally helped us. Mended our broken hearts.

We are forever grateful to him. He changed our lives. We want to be like him, as odd as that sounds.

I wanna live like Odin. If only humans could love one another like dogs, Odin would be the poster child.

So now we heal and love on our little 17 year old Chihuahua. We will mourn him like crazy because nothing will ever take his place.

First night without him…..here we go and hope he visits. His water is full and food bowl full of treats.

Please pray for our Mascot and love of our lives, Odin. We need all we can get right now. We know he is hanging on for us and we are giving him a million kisses a day. It’s a roller coaster, day to day thing. Your prayers for Jeff and I are much appreciated because we are not ok.
