Just arrived, Elijah Craig Single Barrel (8 year).

If you’ve had our last two Elijah Craig picks, this continues in the line of an incredible budget friendly bourbon pick!

What stands out initially is the nose! It has all of the traditional notes most people love, i.e. caramel, a little chocolate, vanilla, but a cool note I’m getting is a hint of orange peel! 🍊

The mouthfeel is creamy, has a pleasant little spice that lingers on the mid to back palate, the finish is Cotton Candy/confection sugar! 🧁

It’s fun to retry pics that you forgot about and you get to rediscover it all over again…this one is 🔥.
