Plasencia has released a special limited edition cigar to celebrate the Year of the Snake for the 2025 Chinese Lunar New Year.
This release, called Plasencia El Año de la Culebra Edición Limitada 2025, is notable for its unique presentation. Each box contains 10 ci**rs:
* Eight are traditional 7 x 40 lancero ci**rs.
* Two are twisted together to form a "culebra" vitola, a unique shape resembling intertwined snakes, which is where the Spanish word "culebra" (snake) comes from.
All the ci**rs are Nicaraguan puros, made from to***co grown on Plasencia's family farms. The MSRP is around $49 per cigar or $490 for a box of 10. Production is limited, with only 6,000 boxes released worldwide, and half of those allocated for the U.S. market.
This is Plasencia's fifth consecutive year releasing a cigar to honor the Chinese zodiac.

Corazón de Agave Expresiones Añejo, finished in Elmer T. Lee bourbon barrels, is a limited-edition tequila that combines the flavors of premium tequila with the distinctive notes of Elmer T. Lee bourbon. This expression is a collaboration between Corazón de Agave, known for its highland agave tequila, and Buffalo Trace Distillery, the maker of Elmer T. Lee bourbon. The tequila is aged in barrels previously used to mature the renowned Elmer T. Lee bourbon.
