This week we're pouring wines that taste like summer by the water.

Think bright citrus, sea spray, crushed stone, and that subtle salty edge that makes certain wines so refreshing. These are the bottles made for warm evenings, oysters and seafood, aperitivo hour, backyard dinners, and honestly, sipping on their own.

If you gravitate toward crisp, mineral-driven whites, this tasting is for you.

No ticket required—just stop by and taste.

June Wine Club:

Grenache Around the World

June's Wine Club box has officially landed, and it might be one of my favorite themes we've done yet.

June's theme is: Grenache Around the World and explores how a single grape can tell completely different stories depending on where it's grown. Three bottles. Three regions. Three distinct expressions—from bright and elegant to savory and complex.

One of the most fascinating things about Grenache is its range, and this month's lineup is proof.

As always, these wines were brought in exclusively for Wine Club members and are not available on our regular shelves. Interested in joining? Sign up now and you'll receive July's box. I'm already working on next month's theme, and I can't wait to share it with you.

See you Thursday,

Annie

Same grape. Three completely different stories.

This month’s Dinner Party Wine Club is all about Grenache Around the World—a chance to explore how one grape can take on wildly different personalities depending on where it’s grown.

From bright and mineral to savory and structured to juicy and sun-soaked, these wines prove that place has as much to say as the grape itself.

Three bottles. Three regions. One of the most versatile grapes in the wine world.

Who’s team Grenache?

Meet the Mailman: Hot Sauce Edition 🌶️

Some pantry staples quietly sit on the shelf waiting for their moment. This is one of them.

This week, Mailman Gabe is putting Moto Calabrian Chili Hot Sauce to the test. Made with Calabrian chilies, it’s bright, punchy, and brings just the right amount of heat without overpowering everything it touches.

The real question: Do you trust Gabe’s review? And more importantly… what would you put it on?

Watch for the verdict, then stop by and grab a bottle if Gabe convinces you.

The cookbook I’ve been most excited about all year is finally here.

AMMAZZA! by Chef Hillary Sterling has officially landed at Dinner Party, and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re not familiar with Hillary, you should be. She’s the executive chef of Ci Siamo in New York City, a James Beard Award nominee, and one of the most talented, thoughtful chefs I know.

I’ve been lucky enough to call Hillary a friend for years, and her cooking has long been a source of inspiration for me. AMMAZZA! is everything I hoped it would be—beautiful, generous, deeply personal, and full of the kind of recipes that make you want to gather people around the table.

Whether you’re a serious home cook or simply someone who loves great food, this is a cookbook you’ll reach for again and again.

Available now at Dinner Party. 🍝📖✨

Hi friends,

Our second Reserve Allocation is here — and this one is particularly special.

We were able to secure an extremely limited number of 3-pack verticals of one of the benchmark sparkling wines of Spain: Raventós i Blanc “De La Finca” Brut.

This allocation is only available as a 3-bottle set and includes:

• 2015 Raventós i Blanc “De La Finca” Brut
• 2016 Raventós i Blanc “De La Finca” Brut
• 2018 Raventós i Blanc “De La Finca” Brut

$195 for the 3-pack
(Not available for individual sale)

Raventós i Blanc is widely considered one of the most important traditional method sparkling wine producers in the world. Located in the heart of Penedès, the family has been farming the same estate since 1497 and famously left the Cava DO in pursuit of stricter farming standards, lower yields, and more transparent terroir-driven wines.

“De La Finca” is their flagship single-vineyard bottling — organically and biodynamically farmed, estate-grown, and produced from a historic vineyard planted primarily to Xarel·lo alongside Macabeu and Parellada. These wines are aged extensively on lees and show incredible depth, texture, and precision while still retaining the bright, saline freshness that makes Raventós so compelling.

What makes this release especially exciting is the chance to taste the evolution across vintages side by side:

• 2015 — the most developed and layered of the lineup, with deeper brioche, roasted citrus, and nutty complexity
• 2016 — incredibly balanced and precise, showing tension, chalkiness, and beautiful length
• 2018 — youthful, energetic, mineral-driven, and bright with razor-sharp freshness

These are serious cellar-worthy sparkling wines and an incredibly rare opportunity to experience a vertical like this outside of a restaurant program or collector cellar.

Quantities are extremely limited and once these are gone, they are gone.

Cheers,
Annie

new at dinner party: the crow canyon basin bowls.
yes, they’re bigger than your head — and somehow still chic.

perfect for giant summer salads, pasta nights, ice-filled wine bottles, or pretending you’re the kind of person who casually hosts 14 people on a tuesday.

This Thursday’s in-store tasting is a special one. From 5–7 p.m., we’ll be pouring a lineup of wines chosen by Sarah James — some of her favorite bottles from her time here at Dinner Party.

Sarah James has been with us for over a year, and while we’re so sad to see her go, we’ve absolutely loved having her as part of the shop. Come by Thursday to try some of her favorite wines, say goodbye, and raise a glass with us one last time.

Introducing: The Snack Table

A Pantry Pairing Club by Dinner Party

A new recurring gathering built around the idea that the best meals often start with what’s already in the pantry.

Good olive oil. Tinned fish. Really good butter. Vinegars worth reaching for. Salty snacks, pantry staples, little luxuries, and the bottles of wine that make all of it taste even better.

Inspired by the kinds of versatile ingredients chefs always keep on hand, The Snack Table will explore a different corner of the pantry each month through wine pairings, hosting inspiration, and simple combinations that feel far greater than the sum of their parts.

Less formal wine class. More discovering your next pantry obsession.

Monthly gatherings in our back room.
Limited seating.
First theme announced soon.

And one last thing: if you’ve been thinking about joining the Dinner Party Wine Club, make sure to sign up by the end of the month to get June's box.

I was able to secure the last handful of cases from one of my absolute favorite female producers for June— and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Honestly one of my favorite wines I’ve had all year, and I can’t wait to share it with you.

Introducing Snack Table — a monthly pantry pairing club from Dinner Party.

Inspired by the idea that great meals start in the pantry, Snack Table is a recurring series exploring the ingredients, snacks, pantry staples, and wines that turn everyday grazing into something worth gathering around.

Each month, we’ll dive into a new theme — think conservas & tinned fish, chili crisps & spicy condiments, chips & dip, pickled & briny things, finishing olives oils & vinegars, and all the little things chefs swear by. Paired, of course, with really good wine.

Stay tuned for monthly themes, pairing nights, tastings, and gatherings.

A little pantry club for people who like to snack well, host often, and always have one more bottle open.
