Join us this Thursday, June 19th from 5–7 p.m. for a special Juneteenth Wine Tasting Pop-Up celebrating freedom, culture, and community — right here at Dinner Party. 🎉

We’ll be pouring three incredible wines from Black winemakers in South Africa, each paired with bold, flavor-packed bites featuring RVA-based, female-owned, Black-owned Ting-A-Ling jerk sauce. Think smoky, spicy, sweet heat meeting juicy red blends and crisp, aromatic whites — it’s the perfect flavor fusion to kick off summer and honor Juneteenth.

As always this is a free event — a fun, collaborative way to support local Black-owned businesses, Black winemakers and celebrate, and spread the light of Juneteenth!

Skin Contact & Orange Wines: Friday June 20th

🎯 Focus:
Explore the world of orange wines—white grapes made with red wine techniques. This class will demystify the style, explain how it’s made, why it’s trending, and how wildly different the wines can be based on grape variety, region, and length of skin contact.

We’ll taste four skin-contact wines from four regions, each made with a different white grape and vinification style—from hazy and wild to refined and structured. The class will dive into maceration, oxidation, phenolics, natural fermentation, and the story behind each bottle.

Salt & Slate is all about terroir - think salty sea breezes, mineral-rich soils, and wines that taste like summer.

We'll be pouring three dry, bright whites from vineyards shaped by sea and stone.
