Happy Mother’s Day to all the women who nurture and care for others with unconditional love and strength, today we celebrate you. You are cherished and truly valued. However, we especially want to do our appreciation for the matriarch, the mama of the liquor store, Tim’s mom- Kathy. Your unconditional support of ALL the staff, customers and our community is appreciated not only today, but everyday. ♥️

Help us find Scarlett a home! She deserves a home!

Tomorrow marks 365 days.

Not just one year in a shelter…
But one full year waiting.
One full year wondering.
One full year watching other dogs leave while Scarlett stays behind.

And the hardest part?

This isn’t Scarlett’s first time losing her home.

Through no fault of her own, Scarlett has been with us THREE separate times—meaning much of her life has been spent growing up in shelter walls instead of a forever home.

She has loved.
She has trusted.
She has started over… again and again.

And still… she loves.

Scarlett is 87 pounds of adventure, loyalty, and heart. A German Shepherd/Saint Bernard mix with a wild spirit made for open skies, hiking trails, backyard zoomies, and someone who understands that the best companions are sometimes the ones still waiting.

She’s independent, playful, vocal, affectionate, and gives world-class butt scratches her full endorsement.

She doesn’t need perfection.
She doesn’t need pity.

She needs someone to finally choose her—and keep choosing her.

Because no dog should spend most of their life waiting for the home they deserve.

Tomorrow, Scarlett hits 365 days with us…
But our deepest hope is that this is the last milestone she spends in a shelter.
