This week we have our loin end pork roasts on sale! They are a bone in roast that sits next to the pork tenderloin, and the pork sirloin ends. These roasts can boast a ton of flavor from the bone. This week we have them on sale for $1.99lb.

Our meat cutters are hard at it today! They just made some breakfast bell sausage in addition to our breakfast sausage. If you have never tried our southern bell, it is a sage heavy sausage. This is great if our original blend of breakfast sausage is too sweet for you.

Did you know that a tri-tip roast is a triangular cut of bottom sirloin known for its rich flavor? Only two tri tip roasts are available per steer, which historically is what makes them a hidden gem at the butcher counter. Butcher Bob Schutz popularized the cut in 1952 in Santa Maria, California, earning it the title of "the brisket of California". The roast itself has two grain directions, they change in the middle of the roast meaning you have to cut in two different directions to slice against the grain, otherwise the bite can turn out chewy. Today our meat cutters have got a whole tray of them in our case for sale!
