Last week (and all month really) we’ve been celebrating one year of the Merc!! What started out as a pain point for us at Willow & Pine Market…. Not having a quick place to grab a drink or little snack downtown….. turned into something even greater! We’ve pivoted a lot since we’ve opened our doors, trying to make this store the best for our customers! It is still ever-changing and we still have so many ideas, as we probably always will, but we are so happy and proud of what it’s become!!!

If you’ve visited our little shop on 3rd Street… We thank you so much— for shopping local and supporting downtown Owensboro! We have more in store for the holidays and we can’t wait to share it with you all! We love you and owe it all to this community!

Your favorite bourbon design… now in a sweatshirt!! 🥃 Also, fun fact.. did you know our very own Isabel Higgins created this design?! Makes it even more special!

Our Bluegrass Bitters event is back!! We'll be hosting Shawn Herbig, owner of award-winning Bluegrass Bitters, on November 14th for a special cocktail creation workshop & tasting!

Shawn will guide you through two signature cocktails. You’ll start with a Burnt Orange — a Bluegrass Bitters riff on an Old Fashioned — then taste the cocktail ingredients on their own to see what each one brings to the drink. Then you’ll build a Bluegrass Bourbon C***r (made with c***r from Reid's Orchard) together.
