Saturday Night Wine Situation 🍷

Tonight’s suggestion: Famiglia Castellani Chianti Classico Riserva 2019

Also known around here as:
one of our best-selling Chiantis for a reason.

This is the kind of red that just makes sense with Italian food — pasta, red sauce, lasagna, pizza, meatballs, grilled meats…

Saturday night doesn’t need to be complicated.

Good food. Good bottle. Done.

Friday mood:

“Let’s open something nice.”

Even if “something nice” is being consumed in pajamas, with leftovers, while pretending the laundry doesn’t exist.

Wine Myth Wednesday: “Red wine should always be served at room temperature.”

Yeah… no.

Maybe in a cute little European cellar sitting around 55°F.

But this is Florida.
Our room temperature is basically sweaty garage with ambition.

A lot of reds taste better with a slight chill — not dump it in an ice bucket chill — just 15–20 minutes in the fridge so they don’t feel heavy and blah.

This might prevent the ice cubes IN THE WINE ;-) Not that we judge... well... maybe a little bit 😬😂

New Martin House Brewing Company beers just landed at Sandy’s Shack 🍻

IPA lovers, you'll be happy!! — IPAs, hazy IPA, double IPA, single hop IPA, and Blueberry Squeeze for the “I want something fruity” crowd.

The only thing WE don’t like about Martin House? They use the same SKU on a bunch of different beers… because... why make inventory easy 😅

Anyway. If boring beer isn’t your thing, you may want to come look at these before they disappear.

We’re already a little over 30% booked… with more than two months to go.
So yes, apparently some people understood the urgency already 😏

Ok so… Limoncello Cream. 🍋

Regular limoncello is already dangerously easy to sip, but then someone in Italy apparently said, “You know what this needs? Cream.”

And honestly? They were right.

It’s lemony, smooth, sweet, and kind of tastes like dessert decided to wear a cute Italian outfit.

Keep it cold, pour a little after dinner, put it over ice cream, add it to a cocktail… or just pretend you’re being fancy while standing in the kitchen. We support the illusion.

Basically: lemon dessert in a bottle.

Come grab one before we “quality control” too much of it ourselves. 😏

Free tasting. Good beer. No weird speech (well... we'll see how Alex feels!)

Wagyu burger with meat from T&K WAGYU , filled with Patriot Missile Dill Freedom Pickles USA and a wonderful Chilean Syrah by Polkura.
