It's November 1st, and that means The Claus Cause is officially kicking off here at Doodles! 🎅❤️

What started back in 2020 with us playing Santa and Mrs. Claus at a local event has turned into something we never could've imagined. Thanks to so many wonderful people in our community, we've been able to help local families who are going through some tough times have a little less to worry about at Christmas.

Starting today, you can stop by Doodles and purchase a Claus Cause die-cut to add to our wall or grab a raffle ticket for a chance to win some great baskets filled with items donated by local businesses.

The money we raise helps provide local families with Christmas gifts, warm clothing, everyday necessities, and a complete Christmas Day meal.

We look forward to seeing that wall fill up every year, and we sure do appreciate everyone who helps us make this happen.

If you're out and about today, stop by and see us! We'd love to have you be part of The Claus Cause again this year.

Happy Halloween from all of us at Doodles!

We hope your day has plenty of treats and not too many tricks. If you’re out and about on Oak Island, stop in and say hey. We always enjoy seeing everyone dressed up this time of year!

Hope y’all have a fun and safe Halloween!

Please like and share to get the word out.

Looking for restaurants and other local businesses to help support the Claus Cause this year.
Last year was a huge success! Over 30 businesses showed their love by donating gift cards that were grouped in baskets to raffle off to raise proceeds to help support less fortunate local families. At a time of the year that can be the most challenging, it’s heartwarming to know that there is a loving community around to help make the season bright.
If you would like to donate, stop by Doodles on Oak Island, give Papa Doodle a call or you can donate through Venmo.
With the help of the Oak Island Police Department, local churches and shelters, hearts can be mended, eyes brightened and hope restored.

Thank you so very much.

Beach bonfire season is getting close!

We’ve already got the firewood ready here at Doodles for those cooler nights coming up. Beach bonfires on Oak Island can start November 16, so it won’t be long now.

If you’re getting ready for your first one of the season, stop by and grab your firewood while you’re here. Just don’t forget to get your permit from the Town before you head out!

The Claus Cause is something that means a whole lot to us, and before we know it, it’ll be time to do it all again.

Every year we get to watch our community come together to help local families have a little more under the tree at Christmas. Seeing the businesses, families, friends, and neighbors who show up to help is something we never take for granted.

We’ll be sharing more as we get closer, but for now, we just wanted to remind everyone that The Claus Cause will be back this year. We hope you’ll be a part of it with us.

It’s become a tradition that’s very near and dear to our hearts, and we’re looking forward to another year of spreading a little Christmas joy right here at home.

UPDATE!!

Thanks for all the help in locating this gentleman. The check is in the mail!

Whoops!!! We made a boo-boo and need help finding this gentleman. He’s visiting from the Charlotte area and we would like to get him the money he’s owed before he leaves town. If anyone recognizes him let him know to please stop back by before he leaves town.

That look when somebody tells us they’ve never been to Doodles…

We’re not judging. We’re just wondering what you’ve been doing this whole time.
Come by and see us. We’ll get you caught up!

“Where has your Doodles shirt been? Mine has been to Vegas and rode the Cartzilla.”

Love it when we get messages from our Doodles family! Thank you Ms Doris Bruns for always sporting you Doodles shirt on vacay! We love seeing where you’ve and the shirt have been!
