Tipsy Score of the Week! Pierre-Marie Chermette Beaujolais Nouveau Origine V.V. 2024

Unlike many Beaujolais Nouveaux, this cuvée is not chaptalized, meaning no additional sugar is added during fermentation, allowing for a purer expression of the grape's natural flavors. The wine exhibits a dark ruby color and offers structured, fleshy notes of very ripe black and red berries, providing a solid structure alongside primary fruit flavors.

Time to cozy up with an affordable and warming red! Notes of tart dried cherries on a bed of potpourri that’s perfect on a glass or ready to be used for some mulling.

This wine was named “a ridiculously good wine for the money” by Wine Advocate. It’s a medium-bodied, unoaked Montepulciano with bright aromas and flavors of black cherry, dried flowers and spice.
