Our Sunday Spirit is a historic Mexican Fernet, crafted using a 19th-century French recipe.

Henri Vallet was a French entrepreneur who emigrated to Mexico during the brief reign of Emperor Maximilian. After the French imperial era collapsed, Henri remained in Mexico and became a prominent maker of traditional European-style digestifs.

Unlike sweeter amari, Fernet-Vallet is famously dry, opaque, and heavily wood and spice forward.

We recommend having a neat pour post-meal or mix with a cold, crispy cola.

This weeks Sunday Spirit is January Spirits Genepy

Genepy is a finnicky shrub of a plant in the wormwood family found in the alps of France, Italy, and Switzerland—made famous by Chartreuse.

This rendition by January Spirits is a modern take to Chartreuse with a slightly sweeter taste without taking away from the proof (sitting at 100 proof 😳)

We believe this is the closest you can get to Green Chartreuse and can be treated as a substitute in any cocktail that calls for Green and can hold its own by itself🍸

The Sunday Spirit is here🥂

Today we’re highlighting chareau®
Chareau is a small batch plant-based spirit made with California aloe, cucumber, spearmint, muskmelon, and lemon peel.

The spirit base is brandy, think like an Eau de Vie, and can complement other spirits seamlessly.

We know fall is around the corner until the temperature is consistently in the 70’s we recommend adding this to a light rosé and soda or in a classic gin and tonic.

Today we’re tasting through Fabrizia Spirits 🍋

Fabrizia is a family owned company using a cherished family recipe passed down through the generations.
Each bottle is made using hand-picked Sicilian fruits and nuts. No waxes, artificial colors or flavors are used in the creation making the liqueur all natural and authentic in taste.
