🔥 Burn Ban Starts May 8 for Mosier Fire District 🔥

The Oregon Department of Forestry has declared fire season beginning Friday, May 8 at 12:01 AM.

As a result, Mosier Fire District, along with other fire districts in Wasco County, will be under a debris burn ban.

Effective May 8 at 12:01 AM:

* No pile burning
* No burn barrel burning
* All burn permits will be void until restrictions are lifted later this year

From the city:

Rock Creek Park will remain available during work on the railroad track expansion, but Rock Creek Rd and the parking lot at the park entrance will be affected in coming months.
