Football sounds different from a leather chair.

Most watch parties are an endurance test - standing room, a screen at a bad angle, and a conversation you have to shout through.

Ours is the opposite. Sunday, September 13, doors at 9:00 AM. Breakfast buffet, every screen on the game, a cigar in hand, and a seat that was yours the whole time. $35 per person, $25 for members.

There's an argument for the slow version of today - a long cigar, a short pour, a chair you don't get up from for two hours, and no obligation to be productive about any of it.

The office moved outdoors yesterday.

Thank you to everyone who played the Karma Golf Outing at River Pointe. Good weather, better company, and a few swings we've agreed never to speak of again.
