My week in Armenia was a journey through time, flavors, wine and unmatched hospitality. From ancient monasteries carved into cliffs to trendy wine bars in Yerevan, this is truly a Caucasus gem! Armenia is a place where you arrive as a tourist and leave feeling like family. The warmth of the people matches the richness of the culture. If it isn’t on your travel bucket list yet, change that immediately

Celebrating a milestone in my wine journey. I am deeply honored and incredibly proud to be participating once again as an official international taster at the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles (CMB) To taste alongside some of the world’s finest winemakers, sommeliers, journalists, and industry experts is both a privilege and a responsibility. Evaluating every bottle is a great responsibility. Every glass tells a story of heritage, terroir, and craftsmanship. Thank you to organizations for this incredible opportunity to evaluate world-class wines and connect with such an extraordinary global community.

Amazing visit to Garni Pagan Temple, Armenia’s only surviving Greco-Roman temple, dating back to the 1st century AD. Thank you for such a wonderful experience

Swirling a glass of Areni Noir, I learned about the region’s 6,000-year-old winemaking history, rooted in the nearby Areni-1 cave complex. The crisp mountain air and rich volcanic soil gave each sip a distinct, earthy character that sets Armenian viticulture apart. Meeting passionate local winemakers who still use traditional clay karas (amphorae) made the experience feel deeply personal and authentic. Sampling unique indigenous varietals paired with local cheeses and fresh flatbread was the perfect introduction to the country’s vibrant food and wine culture.
