Night Sage is a 25-year-old blended Canadian whisky by Orphan Barrel Whiskey Co.. Bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof), it features a remarkably smooth, viscous texture with layered flavors of butterscotch, brown sugar, toasted oak, and ripe fig.
Nose: Opens with aromas of golden butterscotch, creamy vanilla, and gently toasted oak, balanced by warm baking spices.
Palate: The extended quarter-century maturation yields a silky, refined mouthfeel highlighting sweet notes of brown sugar, golden toffee, roasted walnut, and ripe figs.
Finish: A long, lingering, and warming finish, leaving notes of dried fruit, charred oak, and subtle vanilla.
