FRESH ARRIVALS FROM 🌀

2022 ‘Disco Chicken’ Rose — A textural and compelling blend of St. Laurent, Kerner, Zwigelt, Pinot Gris, Blaufränkisch, and Pinot Noir. Crunchy fruity with a floral pop, focused, and bright acid. 🪩🐓

2023 Melon de Bourgogne — Extended sur lie aging inspired by the classic wines of Muscadet. They say “Our interpretation ‘rhymes’ with theirs, so to speak, but with a new world voice.” 🍂🇫🇷

2022 Estate Gruner Veltliner — Intense and highly unique, with significant texture from lees aging. This wine also saw some light skin contact which aids in complexity while retaining focus and balance. 🌳🌿

Rosé from Alsace, France!

The Binner family has farmed in Ammerschwihr since 1770. Christian took over in 1999, went deep into biodynamics, and has made every wine without added sulfur since 2013. The Bombisch Rosé is 60% Gewürztraminer, 30% Pinot Gris, 10% Riesling from old vines across 7 limestone hillsides - extended maceration, wooden vat aging. Dried apricot, rose petal, ginger, candied citrus. Aromatic and textured,
with enough grip to give it bones. ❤️‍🔥

Clos Centeilles sits in the heart of Minervois La Livinière, the Languedoc’s first recognized cru ,where Patricia Boyer-Domergue and her daughter Cécile have spent decades rescuing and farming grape varieties the rest of the region forgot. Cécile grew up in these vines, and her winemaking reflects it: deeply rooted, uncompromising, and quietly unlike anything else in southern France. She’ll be here Wednesday to pour and talk through her wines…so don’t miss it!

THE LINEUP
❣️ 2020 Mosaïque de Centeilles, IGP Côtes du Brian: A white blend of nine rare and semi-forgotten Languedoc varieties: grey, pink, and white grapes that most producers abandoned after phylloxera. Citrus, dried herbs, yellow fruit, and white flowers, held together by a refreshing minerality. This is what the Languedoc tasted like before it became a staple region.

❣️ 2024 La Part des Anges Claret, IGP Côtes du Brian: A claret, the old southern French term for a rosé pressed dark, made from those same heritage varieties. The 2024 is fresh, textured, and a little wild. Strawberry, iron, and crushed stone.

❣️ 2021 Carignanissime de Centeilles, Minervois: Single-variety Carignan from old vines, and a reminder of what Carignan can actually do when someone cares about it. Bright red fruit, grippy, and a mineral backbone that keeps it honest.
