It’s here & and it’s a standout.

We went down to Kentucky as part of Penelope’s Project X program to taste through some wild experimental barrels. After a few contenders, one barrel stood above the rest. No second guesses. just a great pick we couldn’t walk away from.

Finished in PX Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain and bottled at 112 proof, this is one of the most unique Penelope bottles we’ve had. Rich, bold, and layered.

Nose: Dark fruits, burnt brown sugar, molasses, sweet leather
Palate: Plum and fig followed by molasses
Mouthfeel: Creamy to syrupy
Finish: Strong like a bourbon. Doesn't fizzle like most finished whiskies

Let it breathe for a few minutes in your Glencairn and enjoy the full experience.
