I started racing go-karts at a very early age, and progressed into a 305 sprint car on dirt. After that it was a 410 sprint car on dirt, and later would go on to race on pavement in a 410, 360, and 305 sprint car for 15 years. While racing pavement was fun...dirt racing was something I wanted to get back to in one form or another.
In 2007 while working in a engine shop I was given the opportunity to start working on shocks after my nine to five job. Shocks on sprint cars had always intrigued me, and I had always been curious to what was inside them. That opportunity turned into 9 years full time building anything from circle track shocks to four wheeler shocks for Nick Silardi at OC Shocks.
In 2016 I went to Slade Shock Technology after Eric Slade purchased OC Shocks. My time there was spent building shocks for World of Outlaw teams to the local race teams, and everything in between. In the spring or 2019 I decided to start Berryman Racing Shocks. BRS looks forward to providing the best shock service available, and second to none track support.
