Depression in women is often misunderstood, and myths can make it harder to recognize and treat. Here are five common myths and the facts behind them. We worked so hard to pass a law last year that requires PBMs (pharmaceutical benefit managers) to pay pharmacies like mine appropriately for our dispensing of medications. Every year, they pay less and many times under the cost of our medications. There will not be anymore pharmacies if this continues. And now, even despite a law being in place, PBMs think they can ignore the law.

How can you help? Tell your legislator and Governor Polis that you are tired of corporate fat cats getting paid instead of the local independent pharmacy that takes care of you. Tell them you are tired of your already astronomically overpriced insurance payment going straight into the pockets of middlemen that add no value to our healthcare system. I've learned that my voice actually matters when I speak to my legislators. They will listen to you!
