We are spotlighting Jason Phillips this month! Since joining Ben E. Keith on March 1, 2008, he has played a vital role in keeping product moving efficiently through the supply chain. As a Product Supply Specialist, his attention to detail and expertise make him a trusted resource across the organization.
FAVORITE PART OF THE JOB:
Crafting a strong relationship each day with our supplier partners, brokers & transportation companies to help ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time.
FUN FACT:
When the weekend rolls around, Jason can usually be found at the grill, serving up barbecue that keeps family and friends coming back for seconds.
PIECE OF ADVICE:
While Jason recommends learning the entire supply chain process from brewery to consumer, he stresses that it's equally important to develop a deep understanding of the products you're forecasting and ordering. Details such as code dates, packaging formats, seasonality, and storage requirements are invaluable to making informed decisions and driving success.
FAVORITE MEMORY:
One of Jason’s favorite memories is helping organize and attend an annual retreat and golf outing in Marble Falls, Texas. He liked seeing it all come together, as well as spending time with teammates and enjoying a few days together outside the office.
MANAGER’S QUOTE:
“Please take a moment to recognize and appreciate Jason Phillips for his exceptional work dealing with our product supply logistics team. Jason’s positive attitude, experience, and willingness to support all other team members make him invaluable to all BEK operations. Jason’s experience and ability to juggle several logistical issues at once prove what a dedicated and loyal employee he is. Thank you for being such an important piece of our product supply team’s success.” – Steve Bennett, Product Supply Manager
Cheers to you, Jason, for more than 18 years of dedication, teamwork, and commitment to excellence. We're grateful for all you do and look forward to your continued success at Ben E. Keith.
