Green River Distilling Co. has released a special commemorative bourbon to celebrate the U.S. Army's 250th anniversary. This limited-edition release, bottled at 111.1 proof, is a small-batch selection of 4-7 year old barrels. The mashbill is 77% corn, 14% rye, and 9% malted barley. The bourbon is described as having notes of caramel, black cherry, cocoa, and peppermint, with a robust mouthfeel and a lightly spiced, bold finish.
