Please join us for our book event THIS SATURDAY, August 16th with Susan Peterson Gately, who will sign copies of her most recent title, "Downstream: An Exploration of My Watershed," in addition to all her other books we have in the shop (see the photos below). Susan will sign her books from 11 AM until 3.

Make a day of it and stay afterwards for the Arts Council's final Concert on the Green for 2025 with the Ron Spencer Band.

🎶 🍨🍰 Join us next Thursday, August 14, 2025 when Belle Epoque will host the 3rd Annual Salty Tunes & Sweet Treats fundraiser to support the Cape Vincent Arts Council downtown music events.

Music and open mic session with Mikey B. In the backyard behind Belle Epoque.
All invited, bring a chair, your instruments, your friends and family!!

Suggested donation is $10.00 and all proceeds to benefit The Stroll on Broadway, Concerts on the Green and The Riverside Music and Arts Festival. 🎶🍨🍰

Last night, the Tibbetts Point Lighthouse Historical Society hosted a fascinating presentation here in Cape Vincent on the wreck of the still famous ore carrier The Edmund Fitzgerald, which was lost in a massive storm on Lake Superior in November 1975. It was a full house with more than 100 folks in attendance.

For anyone who would like to read up to learn more, we now carry three books on the topic, in addition to many other titles related to the Great Lakes, the St. Lawrence River, and New York's North Country. Drop in and check them out. Read them all!

📚🖋 This Friday, July 25th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Belle Epoque, meet author Susan G Mathis who has written several books set in our own 1000 Islands region!! Books will be available to purchase and Susan is looking forward to signing and personalizing them for you.

🎨🎶 On Saturday, July 25th from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, The Riverside Art and Music Festival will take place on the Cape Vincent Village Green. This is a free event sponsored by the Cape Vincent Arts Council.
