The storm on Wednesday night filled our cellar with 5 feet of water taking out our furnace and hot water heater. But as much as the cellar was filled with water, our hearts are even fuller with gratitude for the
Cape Vincent Volunteer Fire Department and Paladino Mechanical Contracting , and our friends and neighbors who reached out to help. Thank you to the CVFD for coming to our rescue and to Michael Paladino and Keegan for replacing our water heater the next morning. It sure does take a village and there is none better than Cape Vincent, NY

🎵💜🎶 THANK YOU to all the wonderful musicians who filled our village with music for 12+ straight hours on Saturday, and THANK YOU to the local businesses that sponsored and hosted them!!

"The 23rd Thousand Islands International Piano Competition for Young People, sponsored by the Cape Vincent Arts Council (CVAC), is celebrating its launch of several more youthful virtuosos. The competition, to be held in Cape Vincent September 11-13, continues a tradition as a stage for rising young pianists worldwide."

🖌 What a great class at Ruelle Open Studio CV last night with an amazing group of herons and chicks. Even Dorothy went home happy and covered in paint. Thank you, Tracey Jean for teaching us the art technique of negative space.

🎶 It was so fun to host the 4th Annual Salty Tunes & Sweet Treats fundraiser for the Cape Vincent Arts Council, an organization that brings music and such joy to Cape Vincent, NY throughout the summer season. Let's do it again next year🎶
