From right here in Western New York, we are delighted to introduce Ria’s W**es. Established in 2022, Ria D’Aversa and Mike Penn began crafting w**es from 40-year-old vines, driven by a passion for cool-climate w**e regions. Drawing on their experience working in Europe, New Zealand, and California, they bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their w**emaking. Through a commitment to transparency and minimal intervention, they strive to create w**es that authentically express both vineyard and vintage.
This 2025 estate-grown blend from Seneca Lake is made with 45% Vidal Blanc and 55% Cayuga White. Aromas of fresh mint, pear, green apple, and white flowers lead into a smooth palate with notes of baked pear and subtle hazelnut. Balanced acidity brings freshness and carries through to a clean, generous finish. It is made with regeneratively farmed grapes, fermented with spontaneous yeast, and finished with only the minimal effective amount of SO₂.
