This is a question that divides w**e drinkers and w**emakers alike, and elicits strong disagreements. But should it ? We’ll explore the history, practices and nuances of wood aging and fermentation in w**e, using comparisons of like varietals and regions as our springboard to better understand the issues.

I first met Brianne Day many moons ago, back before COVID times. She was "working the market," meaning she was traveling around the country marketing and selling her w**e. Her w**es were and are still such great examples of the amazingness that can come out of Oregon, but as she walked in the door of my store - back in 2018 - the year that I opened my shop - she quickly cemented herself as a w**emaker and human I truly respect. You see, she was not traveling alone - she had her two year old son with her. He toddled around our covered porch as we tasted through her w**es, and I recognized how much of a badass she really is. So, she's just the type of w**emaker we love to support. Come have a taste and see for yourself.

Tataki Zome Natural Dye Workshop at Full Hearts Farm Store!

Join The Natural Dye Co. at Full Hearts Farm Store at Replenova Farm to create beautiful textiles, while enjoying delicious provisions, being amongst friends and neighbors all participating in a mutual act of creativity and community! In this workshop, we will practice a Japanese technique known as tataki-zome -- imprinting natural dyes and organic floral shapes by gently hammering flowers directly onto a textile. We will walk the gardens of Replenova Farm and hand-pick flowers to use in our designs. While we create our textiles, everyone will enjoy light provisions created by Nikaline. You'll walk away with a naturally dyed 17" x 17" 100% cotton handkerchief that can be worn in so many ways - around your neck or wrist, tied to a purse strap or around a ponytail, or worn as a one-of-a-kind pocket square. Durham Warriors Project, Inc. is a 501(c)3 which covers the costs for disabled veterans, active duty military and their families, and other non-profits to stay at Maine Forest Yurts in Durham, Maine - owned by Survivor winner Bob Crowley! This is the last event in our summer fundraising series benefitting our neighbors! The farm store will be open for sandwiches and snacks, and our mobile bar Jackass Annie will be slinging drinks!

This is my friend Kristan. (🌼 The Natural Dye Co. 🌼) Have you ever had a moment in your life where you meet someone and know right away that you want to be that persons friend, that you want to get to know them better? Thats how I felt when I met Kristan. She’s a magical heart open, always leading with joy, wonder and hope sort of human who has worn many hats in her life. I’m so excited to welcome her to Full Hearts Farm Store - our sister store in Durham- for a hammered flower dye workshop this upcoming weekend! Full Service Friday THIS WEEK!

Friday August 14, 5-9PMish

It’s porch season, it’s hot, we love sake, we love small plates, and this Friday (Aug 14) is Full Service Friday! So what are we going to do?! An izakaya style menu, seasoned with a healthy dose of Mediterranean influence (cause that’s our real jam). Think garum and saba marinated yakitori, roasted tomato and ricotta dumplings, edamame with bagna cauda dipping sauce, limoncello sake martinis, Sapporo with an amaro sidecar… 5-9ish. No need to RSVP, just show up! All a la carte, although we are going to offer a special if you want to go all in. We’re going to try hard to make a lot of food so we don’t run out early this time! so don’t feel the need to come right at five! Hugs and kisses!

Wiener Wednesday is tonight! THEME = KIDS TABLE
What does that mean you say?! all menu items are inspired by kids menu, kids food, kids drinks..... Think chix tenders, sh*tty Mac and cheese, capri sun cocktails, ants on a log, dirt cups... tables will be covered in butcher. Paper and crayons will be provided. It’s the Edna and Nikaline show today y’all! Summer is here, summer is crazy, and that means we’re basically always just a touch understaffed and a touch too busy, but we’re here for it. So we’re having an in house w**e tasting with just the two of us! (And probably some kids that aren’t in summer camp cause that’s expensive and we like their company- most of the time- also freeish labor…) well have some tasty bottles open from 5-7, like really tasty ones.
