New bread purveyor!! Welcome !! They’re making amazing breads (and scones, cookies, and bagels) right here in Brunswick 😍 We’ll be getting their baked goods dropped off every Saturday morning from here on out. We open at 11– come snag a loaf or two to try for yourself!

Y’all have been loving Pet Portrait Paint Nights with Averil, so we’re hosting another one! Wednesday, 8/06 from 6-8PM. Here’s how it works:

🐶 Submit a photo of your pet in advance, and Averil will sketch it onto a canvas for you.
🖌️On the night of the event, she’ll guide you step by step to bring your pet’s portrait to life with color!
🎨 75$/PP includes the canvas portrait and all art supplies, AND a $10 donation to Midcoast Humane. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase at the bar!

Weiner Wednesday is TONIGHT!

July 30, 4-9PM

This is our final fundraiser for Curtis Memorial Library for the month, and we will also be joined by Maxime of Pépin Wines for a French Wine bar takeover. Double fun!

Pépin wine is a new style of collaborative winery, formed by Jean & Pierre Dietrich of esteemed Domaine Archilée in Scherwiller, Alsace, as well as wine consultants Xavier Couturier and Pierre Sanchez of Duo Oenologie. The group work with local growers in Alsace and Southwestern France to produce the Pépin range which stands for making no-added sulphite, vibrant and affordable natural wines which are sustainable and reward the growers in compensation very fairly too.
This is an exciting project, and we are looking forward to sharing the wines with you!

As per usual, we will have 2 hot dog specials and a number of other food specials. No need to RSVP, just come on over any time between 4-9 and get some good dogs and good wine! 50 % of all hot dog sales go directly to supporting Curtis Memorial Library!

About last Sunday!! Well, our rain date for our Alice in Wonderland themed garden party fundraiser for truly did turn into the rainy date… but, it was an important reminder that all is well that ends well. We pulled it off by the hair on our chinny, chin, chin, and the good graces of our guests, which is not an ideal scenario for anyone in the business of hospitality. But, every time I remembered to look up from whatever rain soaked a moment I was in, all I saw were smiling and laughing faces, and that is what counts the most. We are thankful for the wonderful community that shows up to support our fundraising efforts and participate in our ambitious ideas! And I am especially thankful for my crew that gets just as excited about all these wacky events. ( , ❤️) While this event was a reminder that weather is most unpredictable and we always need to have a contingency plan, we are fired up to do more events like this at Full Hearts Farm. It was truly a joy to share the space with you all, so stay tuned for more! HOT DOG ALERT We’re coming atcha with another WEINER WEDNESDAY!! 7/30 !!!!

50% of all hot dog sales are being donated to Curtis Memorial as part of our July fundraiser 💙📚

AND this time around we’ll have Maxime of Pépin Wines 🍾🍾🍾taking over the bar! Pépin is a new(ish) style of collaborative winery, founded by Jean & Pierre Dietrick of Domaine Archilée in Scherwiller, Alsace, and wine consultants Xavier Coutourier and Pierre Sanchez of Duo Oenologie. The group works with local growers in Alsace and parts of southwestern France to produce their line of wines. The focus here is on vibrancy, sustainable farming, fair grower compensation, and casual drinking affordability for the consumer.

Per usual, we’ll be running 2 hot dog sets (veg option available), and a handful of other food specials. No need to RSVP, just come on over any time between 4 and 9PM 🥰

What’s better than a Sunday high tea with punch bowls, cucumber sandwiches, and croquet amidst the the Full Hearts Farm gardens in Durham! All drenched in fantastical Alice in Wonderland fancifulness ("drink me" bottled cocktails, "eat me" tea cakes, farm animals wandering around with characters from Alice in Wonderland, interactive art…. From time to time, we like to do an in-house selected tasting, where we focus on some of our favorite wines that are already on the shelf and aren’t getting the love that we think they deserve! Join us this Thursday 7/17 5:30-7:30 as we recreate classic martini recipes, and hone in on what your perfect martini might be, all while eating some tasty snacks and sipping on your creations - in the LIBRARY!

The martini is surely the most mentioned cocktail in classic literature, and also likely the most imbibed cocktail by the authors themselves. From the classic Vesper martini of James Bond in Casino Royale to the White Angel in Breakfast at Tiffanys, we’ve got a lot of material to unpack here! What better topic to explore in the iconic and historic Art and Architecture room of the 1904 building at the Curtis Memorial Library?

Join me and the folks at Little Ridge Farm for a class exploring the versatile world of pesto! Pesto alla Genovese (basil and pine nuts) is the most well known example, but the buck doesn’t stop there! We like to think of pesto as a template, allowing for infinite variations that account for personal preference and ingredient availability. Utilizing farmed and foraged ingredients from Little Ridge, you’ll explore the template, learn the essentials and make your very own custom pesto to take home!
Workshop is $45 per person which includes instruction, a sampling of pestos and other assorted snacks, and your very own pesto creation. Drinks will be available for purchase a la carte.
