Whether or not we acknowledge it, our freedoms are being gradually stripped away under the guise of public safety. I am not an advocate for ni****ne and to***co use; in fact, I would prefer if everyone stopped smoking ci******es and using chemical-filled v**es. However, the recent lists provided to me, outlining the permissible ni****ne pouches and v**e products in the United States, seem to be more about protecting the interests of large corporations than public health. If the government truly cared about public safety, they would ban all harmful products, not just certain ones. Individuals should have the right to make their own choices about their health, including consuming substances like alcohol, to***co, and cannabis. The removal of products from retail platforms seems to be more about protecting big businesses than public health, and it's having a devastating impact on small businesses like mine. The ban on flavored and menthol ni****ne products in Brunswick is a prime example of government control, and it's clear that this is about making individuals richer, not about public safety. We need to follow the money and recognize that oligarchs are running this country.
