I’ve been wanting to make this post since hearing the news about Tony, but wanted to wait until we got the okay and blessing from the family before moving forward with anything. ❤️

TODAY, Captain’s will be at the Howell's Sunday Farmers' Market and we’ll be featuring a special:

Tonys Coney 🌭🍕

Tony was someone we shared a lot of events with, long days, laughs, and conversations with over the years. The food truck community is a small one, and losing someone like him leaves a huge hole in it. He was always out there always on the grind and bringing good vibes wherever he went.

Captain’s will be donating as well. Right now, Nick is just waiting on clarification from the family on what is needed most at this time, so we can make sure support goes where it matters most.

If there are any local businesses, vendors, or individuals that would like to do a donation match alongside us, we think that could be something really special for the community to come together on.

Today is about showing love for one of our own.
Thinking of Tony’s family, and everyone who knew him. Rest easy friend.

People like Nick & Lauren Mannisto and the crew at Captain’s on Main.

You see them serving slices, creating memories, bringing energy to downtown, and helping make events like Taste of Brighton special.

But stories like theirs go deeper than what happens behind the counter.

This is also a business that helped deliver over 1,100 meals to families in need through Bountiful Harvest Food Pantry.

That is what makes Brighton special.

Business owners who care.
Teams who show up.
People who use what they have to make life better for others.

So when we say Believe in Brighton, this is exactly what we mean.

Fueling the Howell High School Senior Survivors through the week with a Captain’s pizza delivery last night! 🍕🔥👏👏👏

Did you know? 👀 The Captain was rocking Team Orange 🧡 all the way back in HHS Senior Survivor 2012!

And it’s still got a special place in his heart to this day. We love showing up for Senior Survivor every year and being part of the fun however we can!
