Tomorrow marks the start of deer hunting for Mainers and for all else on Monday. The season basically runs the entire month of November.
One of my biggest concerns is the lack of awareness about this season by folks “ from away”. It is poorly advertised and I talk to lots of people who don’t realize they should not be hiking, walking, etc… in the woods at this time. There have been some terrible hunting accidents in recent years. I wish this was general knowledge.
We do sell orange bandannas but not the orange fleece pictured here. Please help spread the word and stay safe.

Now this is a unique gift!! You can now make moose shaped ice cubes. I am picturing them being made with either some food coloring or maybe some kind of juice to make moosicles. It would make a great yankee swap gift, a hostess gift for the person who has everything (almost) or some special person missing Maine! I can’t wait to hear why folks are buying this product.

We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with another local crafter. These gorgeous ornaments are made in Raymond, Maine. They are called Scandinavian Stars or Carolina Snowflakes. They are often used as ornaments or tree toppers, as a front door decoration, etc…
We love them and think you will too. Now available in two sizes at the Corn Shop.

I found this little booklet in our back room of “stuff”! I was delighted to see the “ Stones Drug Store” on the back cover. What a sweet memory or collector’s item for someone who remembers this store. Now available!

A sure sign of changing seasons for me is the desire to light a candle as the sun sets. There is something comforting about this process.
These candles are special. Great nostalgic look, wonderful maple scent and on sale at a good price. Think about upcoming holiday gift giving and please pick up one for yourself.
