A recent study found that nearly 1 in 3 patients with chronic conditions saw their health worsen because of these delays.

If your prescription gets delayed because of prior authorization or you're being told to try a cheaper drug first, that’s not your pharmacist’s decision. That’s a PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Manager) stepping between you and your care.

But you’re not powerless.

PBMs shouldn’t decide what meds patients can access.
They shouldn’t raise prices while small pharmacies close.
They shouldn’t stand between a provider and their patient.

It’s a story we hear too often:

✅ The doctor writes the prescription.
✅ The pharmacy is ready to fill it.
❌ Then a middleman steps in and puts everything on hold.

That middleman is called a PBM, Pharmacy Benefit Manager.
They don’t know your health.
They don’t talk to your doctor.
But somehow, they get to decide what medication you actually receive, and how much you pay for it.

PBMs are quietly taking control of patient care.
They’re blocking medications, delaying treatment, driving up costs, and pushing local pharmacies to the brink- all while profiting behind the scenes.

This isn’t how healthcare is supposed to work.
