May 26th 2026 is the 50th anniversary of The Judgement of Paris!

This historic day single handedly turned the wine world upside down but subverting expectations of California Wine.

In a blind tasting of 20 different wines, from California and France, 11 French wine experts gave first place to 1973 Stag's Leap Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon for the red category, and 1973 Chateau Montelena Chardonnay for the white category!

Shock and chaos ensued, re-tastings were done, critics were ostracized, but California's place as a top producer of Cabernet and Chardonnay was cemented.

To celebrate this milestone, we're offering special discounts and pricing on wines from the American Wineries who participated in this event 50 years ago!

Cattleya Wines, Meet the Winemaker + Bottle Signing!

Featuring: Bibiana González Rave, Owner & Winemaker of Cattleya and Alma de Cattleya!

THIS Saturday, May 16th!

Starting at NOON, we'll be pouring four wines by Bibiana, until the bottles run out. From 12:00pm-2:00pm, Bibiana herself will be at The Shoppe to guide you through her wines and sign bottles, while quantities last!
