With school buses back on the road, it’s important to remember when to STOP for a school bus in South Carolina:
🛑 Two-Lane Roads: All traffic must stop when the bus has its stop arm out.
🟢 Four-Lane Roads: Only the traffic behind the bus stops; oncoming traffic may continue with caution.

Safe Driving Tips for the School Year:
✅ Slow down in school zones and watch for crossing guards and children.
✅ Never pass a stopped school bus with its lights flashing.
✅ Stay alert, children can be unpredictable near bus stops and crosswalks.
✅ Give yourself extra time during morning and afternoon commutes.
