This is a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. In this hot vintage, the Merlot was slightly reduced. The Ornellaia 2022 Le Volte dell'Ornellaia remains a plush and accessible Tuscan red. Harvest time saw lower yields on average, with smaller berries and greater fruit concentration. This wine matures in used oak passed down from the top-shelf wines. There is blackberry and dark cherry with sweet spice. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2029

92 Jane Anson
The aromatics are sweet and fragrant, with crushed damson plum, grilled sandalwood, leather, gourmet edged, easy to sink into, and extremely well made. Higher percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon than in previous vintages of Volte, aged in barrels that were first used for Ornellaia. Director Axel Heinz left half way through this vintage, winemaker Olga Fusari skilfully brings it home. 119ha estate. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2034

One of the great houses on the right bank, Chateau Troplong Mondot has an incredible history which dates back centuries. This property was originally part of the De Sèze estate in the 18th century, the vineyard situated on the crest of Mondot included what is today Chateau Pavie. It was in the mid 1800s that the Mondot family had purchased a good portion of their current estate and then in 1936 the property became owned by Alexandre Valette. For years Michel Rolland has served as winemaking consultant and famed Napa vintner, Aaron Pott, has formerly served as winemaker here before migrating to Napa to focus on his own wines.

We are delighted to to be able to offer fresh stocks of Château Troplong Mondot 2014, at extremely attractive if not the lowest price in market today at just $155 per bottle (min 6bt). 2014 Bordeaux remains extremely undervalued against other recent vintages. This vintage has become clear that the quality of many is top-drawer and they are utterly charming. 2014s are considered hidden gems yet remain incredibly under-priced.

This Troplong Mondot 2014 is clearly the smartest buy on the market today versus its previous and proceeding vintages. Aside a fabulous buy at present, the wine is perfectly enjoyable now, and still has a couple of decades aging potential indicating its potential to gain value in long term. Buy this!

The 2014 Troplong Mondot is unquestionably one of the wines of the vintage, and this beauty has more intensity, richness, and exuberance than just about every other wine in 2014. A blend of 90% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Cabernet Franc brought up in 85% new French oak, it sports a deep purple/plum color as well as a smorgasbord of blackcurrants, blackberries, scorched earth, toasty oak, graphite, espresso, and earth. With full-bodied richness, beautiful purity of fruit, and a rich, yet weightless texture, it’s a big, yet classy, elegant, and seamless wine from Xavier Pariente that should be snatched up by readers. It’s already drinking well but has 20-25 years of prime drinking to go. (11/2017)

96 points Vinous
The 2014 Troplong Mondot is super-impressive. Dark cherry, plum, smoke, chocolate and dark spice notes meld together in this stunningly beautiful, opulent Saint-Émilion. Large-scale, ample and totally flamboyant in style, the 2014 is going to need time to fully come together, but it is striking even today. (AG) (2/2017)

09/06/2025

We are delighted to introduce the Tertio de Montrose, the distinguished Third Wine from the illustrious Chateau Montrose, following in the esteemed footsteps of Dame de Montrose and their Grand Vin. This exquisite wine is meticulously crafted from the estate's younger vines, showcasing a refined balance with a slightly reduced influence of new oak and a higher proportion of Merlot. It emerges from the famed vineyards of Montrose, brought to life by the same dedicated winemaking team that has earned this estate its revered status.

The Tertio de Montrose 2019 captivates the senses with its alluring aromas of vibrant raspberry and delicate red florals, setting the stage for a palate that exudes brightness and vivacity. Each sip reveals a harmonious dance of bright acidity and minerality, complemented by luscious notes of fresh blackberry and crisp cherry. Beneath this lively exterior lies an impressive texture and a sophistication that speak to the craftsmanship involved in its creation.

Montrose is certainly one of our all-time favorites, and their Dame de Montrose is one of the great, high-quality second wines from anywhere in Bordeaux. It's no surprise that the Tertio also delivers at such a high level, especially in a banner Left Bank vintage like 2019.

As an exclusive merchant, Infinite Supply takes great pride in presenting this remarkable addition to our portfolio. With a price point of just $45, the Tertio de Montrose 2019 is not only an elegant choice but also an accessible one for both seasoned connoisseurs and those new to the world of fine wine.

We invite you to explore this exceptional offering today. This is an extraordinary opportunity to savor the elegance of Chateau Montrose without compromising on quality! Try it yourself and be the first to rate this wine!

Aged for 12 months, for which 15% in new barrels, this wine is made with the same quality requirements as the Grand Vin and La Dame de Montrose selections. Typical of the Bordeaux blends, this wine can be enjoyed in its early years.

First made in 1971, this legendary Italian wine now celebrates its 50th birthday. Happy Birthday, Tignanello! The Marchesi Antinori 2021 Tignanello (made with 79% Sangiovese, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Cabernet Franc) pulls on all the heartstrings. To be released in May, the wine shows a quintessentially pretty taste profile with tart fruit flavors, redcurrant, tea leaf, heritage rose, crushed white pepper, licorice, nutmeg, clove and chopped mint. It opens slowly to reveal more richness and exuberance with time, becoming downright voluptuous and heady a short while later. The through line, however, remains the bright freshness and minerality of Sangiovese. Compared to the 2018 vintage (which I also loved), this vintage has more overall fruit weight and volume. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2048

98 Vinous
The 2021 Tignanello is every bit as impressive from bottle as it was from barrel and then just after bottling. Silky and polished, with exceptional finesse, the 2021 has all the pedigree to become a modern benchmark for Tignanello and Italian wine more broadly. Bright dark red fruit, blood orange, spice, cedar and sweet pipe to***co all soar out of the glass, framed by a discreet touch of French oak that adds raciness. In some vintages, the elements are discernible. In 2021, it is the total harmony of the wine that makes the strongest and deepest impression. The 2021 spent 17 months in wood, three months in neutral oak during the malolactic fermentation and then 14 months (50% new) for the rest of its aging. Superb. Drinking Window: 2027 - 2051

Vivid, crystal-clear fruit aromas, juicy black cherry, ripe plum and succulent blackberry, combining with artisanal dark chocolate, violet and fresh to***co leaf, making this wine incredibly complex and still very youthful. Its layered and finely textured palate almost hides powerful density, with freshness to balance opulence, leading to a long finish.

97+ Wine Independent
The 2010 Canon is deep garnet in color. Still a bit closed on the nose, it needs a lot of swirling to unlock notions of fruitcake, stewed black cherries, and dried mulberries leading to hints of charcoal, truffle, crushed rocks, and aniseed. The full-bodied palate is a behemoth of rich, dense, black fruit preserves flavors, supported by firm, rounded tannins and fantastic tension, finishing long and ever so spicy. It needs time!

96+ Wine Advocate
Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Canon features wonderfully expressive notes of dried mulberries, stewed plums and baked black cherries with hints of mocha, bay leaves and fallen leaves. Full-bodied, opulent and super spicy, it has a plush texture with a racy line supporting the hedonic fruit, finishing with jaw-dropping persistence.

96 Jeb Dunnuck
Brilliant stuff, the 2010 Château Canon exhibits a rich, powerful style, and it’s certainly a bigger wine than what this château is producing today. Nevertheless, it has that classic Canon class in its black cherry, smoked to***co, and crushed stone-like aromas and flavors. These carry to a deep, rich, full-bodied Saint-Emilion that has a powerful, concentrated mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a blockbuster of a finish. It's clearly in its prime drinking window yet blossoms with air and has another 20-30 years of overall longevity.

Pontet-Canet Dinner with Justine Tesseron
26 May 2025 — An Evening of Heritage, Innovation, and Elegance

On the evening of May 26th, a select group of guests gathered for a remarkable dinner hosted by Justine Tesseron, the dynamic force behind Château Pontet-Canet. The evening was an exploration of legacy and vision, unfolding through an exceptional lineup of wines and spirits that reflected the Tesseron family’s commitment to excellence across continents and generations.

The tasting journey began in Pauillac, with a vertical selection of Pontet-Canet:
2000, 2005, 2010, and 2015 — each vintage offered a distinct expression of the estate’s evolution. The 2000 opened with mature, earthy complexity; 2005 brought density and power with classic Pauillac grip; 2010 stood out for its structure and longevity, while 2015 charmed with its youthful energy and balance. Each wine was a window into a chapter of Pontet-Canet's biodynamic transformation and its pursuit of purity and finesse.

The evening then crossed the Atlantic with two standout vintages of Pym-Rae, the Tesseron family’s Napa Valley estate:
2018 and 2019 showcased the bold potential of Mount Veeder fruit, but with a distinct sense of restraint and elegance. These wines, vibrant and layered, hinted at a New World future shaped by Old World sensitivity.

To conclude the evening, a pair of extraordinary Cognacs:
TESSERON LOT N°53 XO PERFECTION and TESSERON LOT N°29 XO EXCEPTION were served—liquid treasures offering a moment of true reflection. Lot N°53’s velvety richness and deep rancio notes were a masterclass in aged elegance, while Lot N°29 delivered astonishing finesse, with a long, ethereal finish that lingered well into the night.

Throughout the dinner, Justine shared stories and insights—about family, philosophy, and the path forward for Pontet-Canet and Pym-Rae. Her presence brought a personal, thoughtful dimension to the wines, elevating the experience beyond the glass.

It was a night defined by authenticity, generosity, and vision—a true celebration of where great wine comes from and where it is headed.

Super fragranced nose, patchouli, pot pourri, Turkish Delight, rose with caramelised red berries and a touch of smoke and incense - all quiet forward and expressive. The nose alone you could smell for hours such is its complexity and beguiling nature. Powerful and concentrated on the palate, this is broad and muscular, sinewy with depth and determination. Tannins are well integrated, really giving the support to the fruit and acidity, driving the flavours forward despite the clear weight and hold. Fragranced red berries continue on the palate with a touch of stone, graphite and matchstick. Rich and big on the mid palate, becoming more focussed towards the finish. Cleary well made with lots going on. Acidity is great, it's cool, clean, sleek and packed full of flavour. Almost too much, this is a big wine, so needs time, but has lots of appeal and mouthwatering freshness throughout. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2037

96 Points Jane Anson
Captures interest from the first nose, skewers you in place with its flavoursome pomegrante, raspberry, orange peel, lemongrass, rose, slate. There is a smoke, tar edge from the oak but it is matched step by step with vibrant fruit and mouthwatering freshness.

95 Wine Advocate
This is a long-celebrated blend of 85% Sangioveto (another name for Sangiovese) and 15% Malvasia Nera from one of the headline estates of Castellina in Chianti. The Castellare di Castellina 2019 I Sodi di S. Niccolò (with 55,000 bottles released) opens to soft texture and medium weight with dark aromas of blackcurrant and cherry. Those aromas show an earthy or savory side that comes through to the palate. The wine closes with sweet tannins, and this vintage boasts a solid build overall. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2040

95 Vinous - Antonio Galloni
The 2019 I Sodi di San Niccolò is another fabulous wine from Castellare. At this stage, the 2019 is an infant. The purity of the fruit is compelling. Despite its considerable intensity, the 2019 appears to have less forbidding tannins than in many years, which should allow it to drink well with minimal cellaring. Blood orange, sweet spice, leather and cedar linger on the stylish finish.

Founded by Baron Philippe de Rothschild and Co**ha y Toro in Puente Alto, Almaviva excels with its Bordeaux-inflected reds created by Michel Friou. Its 2019 cuveé – 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Carmenere, and the rest made up of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Merlot – enjoyed an extraordinary year resulting in a fragrant nose of dark fruit, lavender, eucalyptus, blackcurrant and cigar box aromas. The refined palate has a fresh core and velvety feel. Drinking Window: 2022 - 2034

97 James Suckling
The aromas of iodine and blackcurrants with roses and lavender make the wine extremely perfumed. It’s full-bodied with a tight, fine-tannined palate that shows linear flow through the center palate. It’s vertical and integrated, adding depth and serious quality to the wine.

97 Tim Atkin MW
The 2019 Almaviva is a little riper and fleshier than the 2018, but there's not much to choose between them in terms of quality. Easily handling its 15% alcohol, this is a seamless, perfumed, beautifully judged cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon with 23% Carmenère, 5% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot and 1% Merlot, with glossy tannins, cassis, raspberry and black cherry fruit, subtle cigar box oak and a graceful, lingering finish. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2035

96 Vinous
The remarkably detailed nose begins and ends with notes of blackberry, black currant and blueberry, while in between, balsamic aromas ranging from camphor to ash appear along with a whiff of violets. All of the above comes packaged in a cigar box. Sugary initially, the flow is creamy and expansive, with polished tannins, while it grows more compact later on, stretching out the flavors. A red that showcases the best of Maipo.

It is suave and energetic on the palate, displaying an admirable balance between slightly elevated ripeness, fresh acidity and detailed, delineated tannins. It finishes with the velvety richness and elegantly drying structure typical of Almaviva. Within this vertical, it struck me as similar to the 2022—although a touch more lifted and less assertive—and further reinforced the stylistic improvements made at Almaviva in the last decade.

One of California's most collectible Napa reds is Dominus, known for its strong Bordeaux-like profile. And, understandably so. Dominus Estate was founded in 1981 by Christian Moueix, the then owner of Château Pétrus in Pomerol.

And it was when Christian Moueix came to California with all his expertise and traditions from Bordeaux, would at some point, made the launch of Dominus' second wine - Napanook. He first produced in Napanook in 1996 together with his then winemaker Boris Champy. The intention is to produce a slightly less serious wine that could be enjoyed with great pleasure in its younger years!

Today, we are thrilled to present an exclusive vertical promotion on Napanook at an unparalleled price—an opportunity that discerning wine lovers will not want to miss. With each bottle, you can experience the meticulous craftsmanship and dedication of the Moueix family, whose unwavering commitment to quality resonates through every sip. Don't miss today's BIG SAVINGS!
