The story of Petit Cheval blanc began in 2006 when Château Cheval Blanc acquired Château La Tour du Pin, a cru classé of around eight hectares. The two properties are separated only by the road leading from Saint-Emilion to Pomerol.

This wine has a genuine variation with a blend of 12 different plots, on clay, sandy and gravelly soils, where 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon. It is elegant and has a fresh nose that is characterised by the generosity of this sunny vintage.

Cheval des Andes, the ‘Grand Cru’ of the Andes, is the fruit of a fusion between two cultures combining the vision and expertise of Chateau Cheval Blanc with high altitude wine-growing in the Mendoza region. Under challenging climatic conditions, this is where Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot unite in a blend which is born at the foot of the Andes mountain range.

They are elegant with the most refined expression of the terroir of Mendoza. On the nose, they are complex rather than intense and on the palate, they are balanced rather than powerful.

Did you know that Pinot Noir is one of the world’s oldest grape varieties? This grape dates back to the Roman Empire and is a parent to several other grapes. The name comes from the French words for “pine” and “black”. The term “black” refers to the grape’s dark color, and “pine” alludes to the grapes’ tightly clustered bunches resembling tiny pine cones.

Every year on the 18th of August, we celebrate Pinot Noir day to encourage wine lovers to appreciate one of world's most versatile wines!

covers just 4 hectares of vineyards: 3.5 hectares of Pinot Noir in Gevrey-Chambertin and 0.5 hectares in Marsannay. The wines from these lovingly tended plots display remarkable purity and elegance, earning the domaine worldwide acclaim.

The Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes, made from vines over 70 years old, is a testament to the winemaker’s artistry. Burghound, who awarded this vintage 88 points, described it as offering ripe, earthy, and fresh aromas of various dark berries. On the palate, it shows very good volume for the vintage, with delicious middleweight flavors possessing a lovely vibrancy that extends into a lingering, balanced, and subtly long finish.

Acquired in 2008 by Christian Moueix, the Ulysses Vineyard is situated in Napa Valley’s Oakville region. The vineyard’s soil composition of deep, gravelly clay loam provides an ideal environment particularly for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

The team at Ulysses focuses on crafting wines that truly reflect the vineyard’s exceptional potential and unique character. Grapes are harvested at perfect ripeness and undergo both cluster and berry selection before a gentle vinification and aging.
