Had an amazing time sharing some beautiful wines with the Moomoo team yesterday!

A few highlights from the session:
• 2008 Domaine du Pegau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Réservée
• 2008 Château Malagar Cuvée Croix Bouey Bordeaux
• And a special guest — 2007 Château Pape Clément!

But the real star of the show?
Château Pegau Côtes du Rhône Cuvée Lône 2021 — bright, elegant, with a beautiful dance of citrus, white flowers, and a hint of minerality that had everyone completely mesmerized.

The Star of the night.

From the legendary Château Latour, Les Forts de Latour is more than just a second wine. Crafted with the same dedication and precision as its First Growth counterpart, this Pauillac offers exceptional quality and depth.

Tasting Note:
🍇 Rich aromas of blackcurrant, cedar, and graphite unfold into a beautifully layered palate with notes of dark berries, to***co, and hints of spice. Full-bodied with velvety tannins and a long, refined finish.

Somehow, this bottle tasted sweeter and richer than usual, effortlessly stealing the heats of the ladies at the tasting . Definitely the highlight of our evening!

A Night of Bonding and Flavors

We came together for an exclusive preview wine tasting, where fine wines and great company created unforgettable moments. Featuring a remarkable lineup of 2007 vintage treasures - Les Forts de Latour, Troplong Mondot, Chateau Talbot, Chateau Cantemerle and Rubissow Cabernet Sauvignon.

The evening began with 2 elegant champagnes, one of which is the Perrier-Jouet Blanc de Blancs, bringing sparkle and celebration to the experience. But it wasn't just about the wines; it was about the stories shared, the laughter exchanged. and the connections made over every pour.

Opened a bottle of Bodegas Roda I 2010, and it was full of surprises!

Initially tight upon opening, but after 30 minutes in the decanter, the magic began. By the 1-hour mark, it had fully blossomed into a beautifully layered and juicy masterpiece.

Tasting Notes:
🍒 Bright cherry and ripe plum lead the way, followed by blackberry and fig.
🍫 Hints of dark chocolate, licorice, and a touch of espresso add depth.
🌿 Subtle herbal notes like thyme, with an earthy backdrop.
🪵 Tertiary aromas of cedar and dried leaves emerge with time, showing its age gracefully.
🔥 Silky tannins and a long, elegant finish with a touch of minerality.

Food Pairing:
This wine pairs wonderfully with hand-cut cured ham (highly recommend Batale 24 months for its delicate nuttiness). Or, try it with roasted lamb, mushroom risotto, or aged Manchego cheese.
