WOW!!!!! Island Gin!!! Our great friend Muriel () has informed us of ANOTHER incredible achievement for her Island Gin: This time the Island Gin Original has taken out Gold and was crowned New Zealand’s Best London Dry Gin for 2025. It now goes up against other countries vying for Worlds Best Gin! We are so proud, as we have been on this journey with Andi since day ONE. We were the first 'off-island' seller in 2020 - COVID times. The bottles are made from recycled glass and portray sea urchin texture. Oh, and the gin is quite good:

Our Story

Martin started in the wine trade in 1987; always in marketing roles. His path has taken him from Gilbey's (Archer's, Malibu, The Singleton) in South Africa, to Penfolds/Southcorp (Seppelt, Lindemans, Tulloch) in Australia to Corbans (Stoneleigh, Corbans) and Winegrowers of Ara in New Zealand. In 2003 he started Planet Wine which now imports and distributes over 550 products from 15 countries.

Martin is very excited about the character-filled premises in O’Connell Street in the heart of Auckland. He looks forward to meeting you in his new home in O'Connell Street to talk wine and spirits and be able to satisfy your fluid needs.
