PÉPIN BACK IN STOCK!
Straight from Alsace/France we just did receive quite some restock of this absolute shop favorite.
Pépin is the negoce project of the Achillée family, working closely with several small Alsatian vinegrowers. It’s made up of all friends who have each been working organically for many years.
The collaboration runs right through from grape growing to vinification, with the aim to make great natural wines at accessible prices.
PÉPIN BLANC
Pinot Auxerrois, Pinot Gris, Riesling
Blossoming spring in a bottle. Fresh and taut, full of white flower and zesty citrus, as well as some white peach, and white pepper notes.
The palate is dry, and lively with good acidity and a mineral, saline finish. Delightful and savoury, will work wonders as an aperitif.
PÉPIN PÉT-NAT,
Ugni Blanc, Picpoul, Muscat and Chardonnay
Sparkling with lively acidity perfectly balancing its natural sweetness. Delicate notes of ripe grapes, citrus and white flowers leaving a lingering, elegant finish.
PÉPIN ORANGE
100% Gewürztraminer.
The skins of the grapes remain in contact with the must for an extended period, giving this wine its distinctive color and aromatic depth. Notes of citrus, apricot and sweet spices.
PÉPIN ROUGE
Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Pinot Blanc
Dried rose petals, red fruits especially cherries and currants, also hints of red apple, then liquorice and cloves, finally notes of black pepper and minerals.
Soft and full-bodied, fresh with a dense and polite tannin, savory and elegant, persistent.
Soft as a pillow.
