We have a few of Summer's plants out the front this morning - some well grown tomatoes, 1 x mini cucumber / gherkin & a few Jalapeño.
We do also have a few trailing tomatoes out the back that I haven't had a chance to pot on.

New faces in the Post Office 😊
Over the next few weeks & months, you will see a couple of new people working in the Post Office. We have 1 currently training & 1 due to start in the next few weeks. There is a huge amount of work that goes into training a counter clerk & they will have had a lot of hours experience before being let loose. This is just a request for patience when being served. Even after nearly 5 years, I still get the occasional scenario that I haven't seen before, so you can imagine what it's like for a new person! Mastering Horizon & the many different services we offer, is no mean feat 😅

If the lady who was in the Post Office to make a deposit after 5pm today is on our page, some cash was found in the layby just now that may solve the mystery. Please pop in tomorrow if you can. Sorry don't know a name to contact directly. Thanks

We have a few plants available this morning - tomatoes including Moneymaker, Cucumbers - regular & mini and some runner beans. Super sub Rubin is currently in charge 😊

Summer is outside this morning with more plants for sale. She has tomatoes, piccolo cucumbers, courgettes & a few sweet peas, runner beans, mint, lemon balm & ordinary cucumbers

This seems to be becoming a bit of a theme - we have a vacancy to fill at Hanley Swan Village Stores! This is due to a long term member of staff taking up an exciting opportunity locally.
So, from the end of May, we need another member of the team! This will be for the shop & Post Office, so somebody wanting to do both is ideal. We're looking for an honest, reliable person, who enjoys talking to the public. A bit of initiative & attention to detail would be fab.
Hours required are Monday, Thursday & Friday 8.30am - 12.30pm (12 hours a week), with the opportunity of extra hours for holiday cover etc. NMW applies. Over 18 only please.
