This went out of print & we've lost count of the number of people who have asked about it. Now it has been updated & reprinted and is available in store for £4.50 😊

Due to a change in circumstances, we have a vacancy for a shop & Post Office assistant. 12 hours a week - Monday, Thursday & Friday 8.30-12.30. NMW applies.
This is an active role, involving serving customers, sorting deliveries, restocking, serving food on the shop side. It also involves cash handling, processing parcels (up to 20kg ish) & learning to use the Post Office system.
Over 18 only please, due to alcohol & to***co sales & working in the Post Office.
If you like the sound of this role, please send me a message. It can be a pretty much immediate start.

One of our fab customers did a fantastic job of volunteering for this. One of our equally fab suppliers - The Meat Company (delivers to us Fridays) - donated all the sausages. New faces in the Post Office 😊
Over the next few weeks & months, you will see a couple of new people working in the Post Office. We have 1 currently training & 1 due to start in the next few weeks. There is a huge amount of work that goes into training a counter clerk & they will have had a lot of hours experience before being let loose. This is just a request for patience when being served. Even after nearly 5 years, I still get the occasional scenario that I haven't seen before, so you can imagine what it's like for a new person! Mastering Horizon & the many different services we offer, is no mean feat 😅
