🍷✨ Wine, Laughter & Friendship – What a Night at Benedictos! ✨🍷

Last night was nothing short of spectacular. We had the absolute honour of hosting an unforgettable Wine Dinner at Benedictos, filled with wonderful guests, a flawless menu, and wines that told stories in every sip.
Presiding over the evening was none other than Christophe – friend, mentor, and long-time supplier. His knowledge, charm, and passion for wine are second to none… even if he is French. 😄 (Yes Christophe, we forgive you – because you do love Italian wines, and that earns you a big pass in our books!)
Our kitchen dream team – Chef Angelo & Giacomo, in brilliant collaboration with Patron Gianluca Tilotta – outdid themselves with a carefully curated menu that sang in harmony with each wine:
🥂 Welcome
Smoked Salmon Roll & Creamy Cheese
Paired with Marchesi Antinori Franciacorta Cuvée Royale – a refined sparkling with fine bubbles and elegant citrus notes, the perfect aperitivo.
🍽️ Starter
Bresaola & Stracciatella – thinly sliced cured beef with creamy Stracciatella cheese.
Paired with Vermentino Santa Cristina, a fresh, vibrant white with notes of white peach and citrus.
🍝 Pasta
Lasagnetta Gamberetti & Pesto – oven-baked prawns and rich basil pesto lasagna.
Paired with Calafuria Negroamaro Rosato, Tormaresca – a delicate rosé with hints of red berries and floral notes, perfect for summer evenings.
🥩 Main
Classic Tagliata di Manzo – grilled sirloin with rocket, Parmesan, and crispy potatoes.
Paired with Peppoli Chianti Classico – a Tuscan gem with bright cherry notes, soft tannins, and a touch of spice.
🍷 The Treat
A very special tasting of Tignanello 2021 – a legendary Super Tuscan. Rich, structured, with dark fruits, spice, and elegance that leaves a lasting impression.
🍨 Dessert
Millefoglie alla Crema Pasticcera with vanilla & truffle ice cream – a decadent, luxurious finale.
