🚨DELIVERY RETAILERS🚨
Other delivery apps take a cut of your sales, then charge your customer a service fee on top. Scoot puts both back in your pocket.
Most platforms charge 2.75% to 4.75% commission. Then they hit the customer with a service charge, usually around £1 an order, and that fee steps up once the basket hits a certain amount. You lose margin. Your customer pays more than the shelf price. Nobody wins except the platform.
Do the maths on £10,000 of weekly sales at the low end of that range.
Commission at 2.75% is £275 gone before you start.
About 450 orders a week at £1 service charge each is another £450 that never reaches you.
That is roughly £725 a week sitting with someone else. Over a year, that is close to £38,000.
At 4.75% the commission alone is £475, so the gap gets even wider. And because the service charge rises on bigger baskets, a shop doing proper numbers is leaving even more on the table.
With Scoot, that commission and that service charge stay with you. You set the prices. You set the customer charge. In-store prices on the app, if that is how you want to trade.
It is not just the fee. Scoot plugs into Just Eat for the delivery, and into your EPOS so prices and promotions update on their own. No double keying. No promo that is live in store and wrong on the app.
The deals your customers get on Scoot are the other half of it. App-only offers that actually pull orders, funded in a way that still works for the shop. More baskets, same prices as the shelf, and the margin stays where it belongs.
If you are a Londis, Budgens, Premier or Family Shopper doing real volume, this is not a nice-to-have. It is the difference between paying a platform to take your customers and keeping the sale yourself.
Ask yourself: are you doing the right thing for the business? Especially when prices are going up and sales are going down in-store.
Only Booker symbol stores can run Scoot. Londis. Budgens. Premier. Family Shopper.
If the numbers above look familiar, it is worth a conversation.
Don't know how you would switch customers over? It's easy! We did it and TRIPPLED our sales.
