BAR SNACKS // What a relentless adventure! Another week is here and this is what we've got.

Inspired by an article by Tim Anderson in about Katsu, we're going to serve our version on Thursday night. Vittles is the finest food mag you could hope for - very much recommend getting a copy, sure it's in stock at . Loved the story of Katsu and the beautiful illustrations from .

Lunch is back Thursday and Friday with those ham butties, a lovely veggie pitta and our first quiche of the season.

Sunday we've got the one and only , drummer of , on the deck and a classic beef roast. There'll be pints, top wine etc etc.

TIRED// What a weekend! We went from catering the wedding of the wonderful people of on Friday to skewering the taproom with our new barbeque on Saturday. Made it to the dying embers of Stockparty to check out the latest opening in this wonderful town at . George and Amy are the best and are going to do something amazing there with . Sunday was special too, having .music back on the one deck to soundtrack a day of jerk and recovery.

It's a great time to be in Stockport amongst special people trying their absolute best to make top things happen. It's impressive, inspiring and tiring. Love to everyone, huge thanks as usual to the people who help me pull the events together & and my best bro Chris who doesn't exist on the internet. Thanks also to the A-team at Reddish Ale who keep it rocking whilst I f**k about all over the place - .sir & . Time for a bit of rest I reckon.

MARKETING // Tonight we're with our favourite wine dealer called Mark, selling beer from Runaway Mark in Stockport Market. Find us in the stall pouring Pilsner & NZ Pale alongside limoncello spritz, fine wines and cider. THANKS // Last week we hosted our Spring Celebration Banquet upstairs at and it was wonderful. We filled every seat, met some new people and had a lot of fun blasting through a huge menu of seasonal delights. I'd like to thanks Mark, Sam and the Runaway team for running a beautiful venue full of the best beer, the guests for coming and eating everything and the Reddish Ale catering gang we got together to make it happen. We had the absolute best quality produce available to us so making great food was pretty straightforward, all paired with ideal beer. I could go on but would just like to say a sincere thank you to those that made it possible:

- butcher, caterer and chief-in-charge of making sure I keep my head up. the.florist - wonderful organiser, florist and babe wife.
- top chef, secretly ran the show whilst I was pi***ng about. Great human.
- safe pair of service hands and top brownie maker.
- making the music and moving the gear, a man dedicated to making things sound better.
- top chocolatier providing beautiful custom chocolates that rounded the night off perfectly.

THIS WEEK // Kitchen action returns after a little pause due to catering-based adventures. Wednesday evening, all day Thursday and Friday lunch are looking good with a dish inspired by our menu at Runaway Brewery last week, a springy soup and those ham butties.

Sunday we've got on the tunes and in the kitchen we're on the porchetta. It's an absolute favourite in the RA kitchen, headlining a sort of lighter, fresher roast for the season. return to the menu offering a top vegan option - no diner left behind!

And Friday we'll be down the stall, bringing a bit of Reddish Ale to Foodie Friday and collaborating with our boy Marko. We'll be bringing tap beer from , sausage rolls feat. meat and kabanos from . Mark will have the usual wonderful array of vino, alongside spritz, cider, fizz etc etc. How much action can you pack into a tiny market stall?? Join us Friday to find out.

THIS WEEK // Ok party bastards, bit of (climate) change to this week. The kitchen men are off to for a big dinner on Thursday so usual Wednesday/Thursday/Friday kitchen is out, bar open as usual. Soft Sunday, however, is active. The panuozzo steak sandwiches were a big hit last week so we're making a hybrid panuozzo/bánh mì, a mash up I believe the world (Reddish) is absolutely waiting for.

In other news of the absolutely-not-f**king-about kind, we've got Brent and Dylan Woodall on the records. They're bringing an extra deck and mixer for full on family-record-spinning action. Soft Sunday is moving target, an amorphous fun-time for all.

SPRING THING // In two weeks time we'll be at hosting a dinner in their beautiful room above the brewery. We've finally written the menu and here's how it'll probably go down. We're really excited to work with our favourite brewery and to bring people together for a meal that celebrates all the delicious things we're aware of.
