We're a BMC affiliated Club based in Shropshire, with regular meets in Wales, The Lakes, Scotland, and Internationally.

A Shrewsbury based Mountaineering Club with over 100 members. We're out and about throughout the world, but walk and climb regularly
in the UK on a weekly basis.

Huge thanks to Rozi for coordinating and everyone who made our introduction to climbing weekend a massive success! 🙌

We based ourselves at Clwt-y-Bel, our club hut near Llanberis, giving us fantastic access to North Wales' incredible climbing. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Saturday was a bit too wet for the outdoors, but we still had an awesome time at 🌧

We learned the basics and leveled up our skills in the warm and dry. 🪢

On Sunday, we hit and continued our development. 🧗

It was brilliant to see such a mix of abilities, from total beginners to experienced members who were happy to share their knowledge. Such a supportive community! 🫶

Lastly, a big good luck to Rozi for her upcoming RCI assessment! Fingers crossed we made every mistake imaginable this weekend, so she can breeze through anything the assessors throw her way! 😂

We have plenty more adventures planned this summer, including a in a few weeks.

1️⃣ In the first of our May Residential Triple Header is our Stoney Middleton meet!

🧗‍♂️Our were sending it in the for some

🥧 On Saturday, we headed to , then headed to the pub for Steak and Ale pie (vegetable options also consumed!), , and great .

🌄 Sunday saw us head to for a change of scenery, and wow, the views were stunning!

🪨 And then to roumd out the weekend, a few of our number stopped off in to squeeze in one last session!

🛠 Next weekend, we'll be at our own hut, Clwt-y-Bel, doing some maintenance so it's ready for another summer of fun for our members and external groups that are welcome to book with us in the heart of 🏴󐁧󐁢󐁷󐁬󐁳󐁿
