Tomorrow/Sunday 6th September we are closing Johns at an earlier time of 7pm. Our staff are having a well deserved meal out at the fantastic and sampling the smorgasbord of delicious food and wonderful cocktails on offer.

After working exceptionally hard all summer they definitely deserve it! If you need to pick anything up off our shelves then please pop in during the day ☀️

We Need You 🫵🏼

Yes that’s right. Here at Johns W**es St Ives we are in need of an enthusiastic new member of staff (or two) to join our team. This is a customer facing role, and the job is varied and at times fast - paced, to include a mix of daytime and evening shifts.

We’d love someone with some bar experience but confidence and competence with customers is first and foremost our biggest requirement! We can provide all on site training if necessary 🍷

Your role includes a fun mixture of working both in the shop for retail and whipping up cocktails and pouring pints on the bar, helping with deliveries, stocking up shelves and fridges, keeping the shop and bar clean and tidy to high standards - all the whilst providing friendly and engaging customer service! 🍻

Competitive rates of pay offered as well as staff discount on products and the opportunity to attend in house w**e tastings with some of our fab suppliers! 🥂

Johns is expanding! 🥳 Since being built decades ago, “The Cabin” on St Ives harbour front has been owned by The Johns Family. Firstly as a newsagent, then several years as a Cornish Produce Shop, and for the last couple of years it has been

But now we are moving forward and keeping in true Johns style, doing what we do best! 🙌🏼 We will be offering up amazing atmosphere, delicious cocktails, a fresh and inviting w**e menu, and beautifully decorated interior!

The glassware, seating, glass washer and bar prep area has all been delivered and Sam is busy hard at work building a beautiful banquette seating area for you all to enjoy 🪑

We are hoping to be open & ready to welcome you for half term to come & enjoy this incredible new space! 🥂 in the meantime you can still enjoy all your favourites from the main Johns store! 🍻
