Todays Cigar moment is a NEW cigar for me!
CAO Mortal Coil Toro.

Sometimes you find unexplored territory in your own backyard. CAO Ci**rs have been sourcing to***co from the Dominican Republic for years but they have never worked with andullo to***co, a relatively rare, centuries-old technique that involves taking cured to***co leaves and tightly coiling them in palm tree pods called “yaguas” to ferment.

This process yields a dark, leathery to***co with a taste profile that is both strong and sweet. CAO Mortal Coil blends this rare to***co inside a USA Broadleaf wrapper for a unique cigar that’s full of flavour yet not overpowering the experience.

Tonights cigar moment is the Fabulous...
Karen Berger Halftime Timeout Maduro Gordito Cigar.
The Karen Berger Halftime Timeout Maduro Gordito is a very short yet chunky, substantial cigar created for those occasions when time is limited but you still want the richness and complexity of a premium smoke.

Measuring a chunky 4.5" x 60, the Timeout Maduro is beautifully finished with a distinctive pigtail cap.
Its compact Gordito format delivers plenty of flavour and generous smoke production, with a medium to full-bodied strength.

The blend begins with a dark and flavourful Ecuadorian Habano Maduro wrapper, paired with an Indonesian Sumatran binder and a core of premium Nicaraguan filler to***cos. Together they create a rich yet well-balanced profile with plenty of depth without becoming overwhelming.

Expect flavours of cedar, roasted coffee and leather, joined by gentle spice and an underlying natural sweetness. The Maduro wrapper brings additional richness to the blend, while the Nicaraguan to***cos provide the strength and complexity that develop throughout this compact smoke.

We had a visit from a Chinese Gentlemen this week, who gave me a couple of Ci**rs from China.
This was a great honour to me, as it was my first ever Chinese Cigar, and to sit with him this afternoon and enjoy it in his company was indeed an even greater experience.
Notes...
The cigar started a bit light, but then developed into a very easy smoking experience.
The cigar itself was little dry on the wrapper, but not a disaster.
Ceder,white pepper, spice...
I must say i did enjoy it, and definitely would smoke another...
I thank Oscar for his kind generosity in sharing one with me..
