The Head Case Team ( Sam L. Jackson & Dylan Taplin ( and myself Tony Duke) and a very good Customer James McClellan all visited The Lords last night for a night relaxing in good company.
Fabulous ci**rs enjoyed by all, and even had a chance of meeting a few of Mario's customers .
Many thanks to Mario's for the evening, and being a splendid host!
We all look forward to a return visit.
I enjoyed a Gurka Year of the Snake. 2025 Ltd Edition by Oscar Valladares.
6 x 52 Maduro. Honduran . Med.
Not a bad smoke, a new cigar for me, this cigar did need re-lighting many times, and to be honest i am not a fan of Gurka Ci**rs. However despite all that said , i did enjoy the flavour profile and was a good start for an evening..
My second Cigar that I had never tried was the:
Freud SuperEgo ... 5 x 54
Dominican. Med.
Plumes of smoke , never needed relighting, excellent draw.
Flavours of , Espresso, leather and sweet creamy Almonds. A very enjoyable cigar.
We all tried different ci**rs compared to our regular smokes, and thats what I like about visiting other Cigar Stores/ lounges/Sampling rooms. You are always able to find something new to experience.
If you are ever in Gosport, Hampshire one evening, the Lords is well worth a visit.

Todays Cigar moment is with a Por Larrañaga Petit Corona.
Por laranaga is the oldest active Cuban cigar brand, established in 1834, and is widely praised for its light-to-medium strength, signature honeyed sweetness, and exceptional aging potential.

Mareva, 5" x 42): Considered a benchmark size for the brand, offering creamy Almonds, and wood notes and toasted sweet tones of honey on crackers..
A clean easy draw is expected with these mild ci**rs.
Burn time around 20- 30 mins.
Available in the UK at the moment..!

The idea is to catch up with Mario the owner , and show our support & solidarity with our nearest Cigar retailer.

Head Case Cigar Moments..
Today i am enjoying the amazing
Vegafina 1998 Short Robusto.
Launched in 1998, today Vegafina has become one of the bestselling handmade cigar brands int he world.

Hand-rolled at the famous Tabacalera de Garcia factory, VegaFina ci**rs are made from hand-selected Ecuadorian wrapper, an Indonesian binder and a combination of Dominican, Colombian and Honduran long-filler tobaccos.

This creates a distinctly smooth, aromatic blend with a light to medium body that is appreciated by cigar smokers across the world. 

Vegas Finas translates to 'finest fields' and refers to quality of the plantations producing these Dominican rolled ci**rs presented in dressed boxes, small packs and tubes.

1998 50 SHORT ROBUSTO

All the leaves used to create these commemorative ci**rs have been aged for a minimum of three years. This extra ageing adds smoothness and and depth to a blend made up of the finest leaves from Nicaragua, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. A short smoke but well worth seeking out.
