💚 WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT 2027 - AND WE NEED YOUR HELP 💚
You may have seen the news that the forecast for the charity sector this winter looks bleak, and that 2027 is predicted to be even tougher than ever.
We feel it. We know so many amazing local and national charities who are struggling right now. Charities who are having to cut back, stop projects, reduce their outgoings just to survive.
We don't want that to be us.
We have targets to meet and more importantly, we have families who rely on us. We want to carry on sending out the same amount of care bags we are now - to cancer patients and to families on neonatal units - without having to cut back. We want to keep our respite caravan open for families who desperately need a break. We want to keep Aim High Festival going as our annual celebration of hope.
But to do that, we need to plan ahead, now.
So we have set ourselves a huge, slightly scary challenge...
FOR 2027, WE WANT 365 FUNDRAISERS - ONE FOR EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE YEAR! 💚💚
365 days. 365 people doing something amazing for Ailsa's Aim.
It could be big or small. A coffee morning, a 5k run, a skydive, a bake sale, a car boot, a quiz night, a head shave, a sponsored silence, a collection pot in your shop. Everything counts.
Whether you want to fundraise for Aim High, for our charitable purposes - our care bags - or for our respite caravan, you can choose where your money goes.
And as a thank you, every single one of you who signs up for 2027 will go on our 2027 WALL OF FAME in the office and online. Your name, your challenge, your reason why.
We know times are tight for everyone, which is why every penny really does matter more than ever right now.
