Today we had the pleasure of spending the day at the stunning Mountfield Winery — where the views are almost as impressive as the wines! 🍷☀️

🌟 Last Friday the Warren was buzzing with great energy as Gary and Nick guided our guests on a beautiful journey through the world of Tidebrook and Jordan — from the sun-drenched vineyards of Stellenbosch to the rolling hills of East Sussex. The wines were exceptional from the very first pour, but if we had to pick a highlight - the 96-point Cobblers Hill and the gorgeous Sophia had everyone’s glasses going back for more. It was one of those evenings that reminds you just how magical wine can be when it’s in the right hands. Thank you to everyone who joined us — and a huge thank you to Gary and Nick for making it so special. Until next time! 🍷✨

Back from Rioja… and straight back into village life! 🍷☀️🎶

After a wonderfully informative trip to Rioja (enjoying a few fabulous wines along the way 😉), returned home just in time to enjoy our lovely May Day celebrations in Mayfield — glorious weather, lots of smiles and a fantastic time had by all! ☀️🌸

Then it was on to yet another wonderful concert in St Dunstan’s Church mayfield courtesy of the Mayfield festival 🎶⛪ — proof that there’s never a dull moment in Mayfield!

And today? Off again… this time to judge Provence rosé wines 🍷🇫🇷 (someone has to do it! 😆)

It’s certainly been a very busy — but very enjoyable — few weeks. Watch this space for plenty of wine discoveries to come

Spent testerday immersed in the heart of Rioja with a visit to the Consejo Regulador DOCa Rioja followed by three fabulous wineries:

🍷 Conde de los Andes
🍷 Viñedos de Páganos
🍷 Altanza

Spectacular wineries, exceptional wines and wonderful food were enjoyed by all. Generous tastings, fascinating stories and plenty of standout moments along the way — with full wine highlights to follow soon!

One unforgettable detail was the incredible vegetable and mayonnaise nibbles crafted to look exactly like pebbles… almost too realistic to eat.

And today? Another three wineries await — we can’t wait to see what the next day in Rioja brings 🍇🍷

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind of incredible masterclasses – from Ridge Estate to Provence rosé and Bordeaux classics – all culminating in a truly glorious week in Provence. Visiting Château d’Esclans (home of Whispering Angel), Minuty and Aix was an absolute highlight 🍷.

This week was USA tasting with Kendall Jackson wines for the Mayfield wine society where we tasted some wonderful Californian & Oregon wines This week Rioja, where Jacqueline will be tasting her way through what we hope will be some exciting new discoveries. Fingers crossed for some standout new wines and fresh vintages of our favourites arriving soon
