📣 Attention chilli fans! 🌶️

We are proud to kick off the new Cru Sunday Sessions with a food and wine event close to our hearts - Wine & Spice.

Chef Gavin will prepare 4 epic spicy dishes from around the world paired with 4 specially selected wines to bring balance to your palate. Each dish will be reasonably spicy, but will be served with extra chilli sauce on the side (each one different to match the dish) for those who really take their spice seriously.

We will have menus for meat, pescatarian, and vegetarian preferences. There are two sittings, 1-3pm, or 4-6pm - Sunday 17th May only.

✉️ To book your tickets, send us an email with your time preference and any dietary requirements (and any questions you may have), or swing by Cru to buy tickets on the spot. Places are limited so don't miss out!

Today we’re celebrating Heya Wines: a female-founded natural wine project from Lebanon championing women across the wine industry.

ONE YEAR OF POPPIN’ CORKS & VIBES 🍾🤩

On our first ever night of trading, we served mulled wine and sparkling wine on our doorstep while Cru was still nothing more than a building site, and as the Christmas lights were turned on in Warburton Street. With the buzz that was igniting and feeling the warmth of the community, we knew we were onto a good thing. In light of this, we opened a bottle of Mileștii Mici, our favourite Moldovan fizz to celebrate.

So, to mark our one-year anniversary, on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th, and Sunday 15th of March, we invite you to revisit this superb sparkling wine with 2 x 125ml glasses for the price of 1 (T&Cs apply. Subject to availability. Ask for details)

Huge thanks to everyone who has made 2025 so special. Your support has been truly heartwarming. Since opening in March, it’s been an incredible nine months of stunning wines, amazing food, and cherished moments.

While we’re closed until Tuesday 20th January to take a much needed break, and for routine maintenance at CRU, we’re super excited to welcome you all back and continue poppin’ corks and vibes in 2026.

On Sunday 5th October, Simon Wood returns to Cru for our autumn edition of the Cru & Wood tasting experience!

After a welcome drink, Simon will delight you with three of his tasting dishes made just for this occasion, each paired with Cru's pairing selection of exquisite wines.

Bookings are for 2-hour slots throughout the day (1-3pm; 3:15-5:15pm; 5:30-7:30pm) by advance payment in full - DM us or write to [email protected] for more information.
