Arranmore runs in the 8 45 at Beverley tonight, the 1m 2f 0-55 handicap. Aiden Brookes rides

He has been running well enough on his last 3 starts, all over 1m. He finished a staying on 6th of 12, beaten five & quarter lengths in a 1m handicap at Musselburgh. The extra 2f will suit, racing off a 1lb lower mark.

B Associates runs in the 4 15 at Carlisle today, Division 2 of the 1m 0-65 handicap. Aiden Brookes rides

He ran a fair race last time out, just 6 days ago, finishing 5th of 9, beaten four & three quarter lengths in a 7f handicap at Catterick. He will handle today’s forecast going, he is nicely handicapped, 12lb below his last winning mark, so hopefully he will run his race.

It has been a terrific week for our Jockeys Aiden, Becky & Josh (making it round in a chase 🤭)

But a sad loss to us all in the passing of Tommy & Margaret Batchelor, who have been supporters of the yard for a good while. Many will remember them for being land lord & lady of The Co**ie / The Richard III in Middleham. Tommy & Margaret ran a pub as it should be and were keen followers of Middleham racehorses over the years.

Followed by further sadness when hearing of the passing of a long standing owner & friend Paul Sellars, whom we shared many good days with , not only on the race track, but in Portugal 🏌🏻‍♂️⛳️ & jersey 🐎🍷.
Paul was a quick thinking astute business man who had a view on the whole spectrum of worldly affairs. He had a passion for Horseracing and was a gentleman owner to train for & all our jockeys loved riding for him.

Our thought are with both family’s at this hard time.

Community Rebel runs in the 5 28 at Hexham today, a 3m 0-100 handicap chase. Josh Thompson rides

He never got in to the race on his debut for the yard last time out, before pulling up, in a 3m chase at Hexham, 7 days ago. If he could repeat his run two starts ago it would put him in the mix today.

Myboymax runs in the 5 05 at Chester today, a 1m 4f 0-75 handicap. Joe Fanning rides

He makes a quick return to action today, after finishing 5th of 8, beaten four & three quarter lengths in a 2m handicap at Catterick. He has a good draw, but this looks tougher than his last race, hopefully he can run his race off the same mark.

Our Boy Harry runs in the 2 25 at York today, the 6f selling stakes. Warren Fentiman rides

He has raced in 3 maidens to date, finishing 6th of 6, beaten just over 8L, last time out over five & half furlongs at Wetherby. Improvement will be needed today to get competitive. Handicapping will be his future when he receives his handicap mark.

WINNER AT CATTERICK

Stellarmasterpiece wins the 1m 4f handicap tonight, under a top ride from Aiden Brookes.
In touch with the leaders, she made good headway a 1f out, taking it up in the final 110 yards, staying on to the line to win by a neck.

He has raced 7 times for the yard, without getting his head in front, his best run being two starts ago, finishing 6th, beaten three & quarter lengths in a 7f handicap at Wetherby. His mark continues to fall, he races off 54, 12lb below his last winning one.

He got a bit outpaced last time out, when he finished 5th of 10, beaten just over 4L, in a 6f handicap at Red at. The step back up will suit, racing off 49, a 1lb above his last winning mark over 7f at Wolverhampton in February.
