🍷 ANOTHER AMAZING WEEKEND AT Devonshire Cork & Vine 🍻

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us this weekend! ❤️

Dancing With Dragonflies Band played their first gig in around a year, and what an amazing night it was! 🎸🎶 So much fun, fantastic music, and a brilliant atmosphere. We loved having them with us!

Now, we're back open this week with more live music, local businesses, vinyl, and, of course, plenty of amazing drinks!

After their amazing performance this year, we're bringing Pretty Green (PFG)back to headline Friday night. If you were there this year, you'll know why we're excited to have them back!

For the last two years, Devonshire Cork & Vine has independently organised Bideford Oktoberfest, bringing live music, great b**r and plenty of atmosphere to the town.

We've been working hard to bring life back not just to Butchers Row, but also to Bideford Pannier Market, creating an event that brings people together and gives our town something to shout about.

🍺 EVERYONE’S AN EXPERT, AREN’T THEY? 🍷😂

On Thursday, one of our customers left a review on the Community page, and some of the replies to his post genuinely made us laugh! 🤣

So, just for reference, the b**r in question is Blanche de Bruxelles 🇧🇪 — a classic, unfiltered Belgian white b**r (Witbier), brewed by Brasserie Lefebvre, just south of Brussels. The brewery dates back to 1876, and yes, it's SUPPOSED to be cloudy! 🍺

We love the fact that people are talking about Devonshire Cork & Vine. Whether you're praising us for bringing a massive selection of b**rs and w**es to Bideford to enjoy at home, appreciating the space we've created to sit back and enjoy a drink, or celebrating what we pulled off with Bideford Oktoberfest 2026 , with over 900 people coming through the doors across the weekend, we're grateful for the attention! ❤️

But let's be honest, some of the comments do entertain us! 😂

Apparently, we're too expensive, the b**r looks cloudy, or it tastes like p**s! 🍻

Of course, everyone's entitled to their opinion, and we're not going to please everyone. But we'd put money on some of the loudest critics never actually having visited us!

We're just a small independent business trying to bring something different to Bideford, support great producers, offer a fantastic range of drinks, and create somewhere people can come together and enjoy themselves.

So, whether you're a w**e expert, a craft b**r enthusiast, or someone who just likes a nice cold pint, you're always welcome here. No snobbery, no nonsense, just good drinks and good company! 🍷🍺

👥 6 people = 3 tickets

Due to our limited seating and table arrangements, we can only accommodate bookings in even numbers. If you're attending as a single person or have an odd-numbered group, you'll need to purchase an additional ticket to cover the spare seat.

With just 20 places available, this promises to be a wonderfully intimate evening of great w**e, fantastic cheese and live music.

And already the planning begins, Bideford Oktoberfest 2026 was amazing and I hope you enjoyed it. We are now in Planning already for 2027 Friday 1st October and Saturday 2nd October 2027 we will be bringing you amazing bands and plenty more amazing B**rs.
