Our wine of the week – this new Languedoc Alvarinho from Famille Fabre!⁠

Grown in the breezy vineyards of southern France, this excellent new Alvarinho carries flavours of apricot, melon and sweet tangerine with acidity adding crispness and lift. A flicker of flinty minerality keeps things fresh and lively – serve nicely chilled, pairs beautifully with grilled white meats, seafood or as an aperitif 👌🏼✨️

Throwback to catching up with André Stentz and his son at an organic wine fair 🍾 ⁠

We first met Andre at an organic wine fair back in the 80s – he was a pioneer for organics in France's great Alsace region 🇫🇷 Although wines from this region can be slightly overlooked here in the UK, they always 'wow' the room at tastings. We opened up a bottle of his Cremant D'Alsace this weekend, it was stunning as always!
