I just love this gently oaked South African beauty - definitely my bank holiday treat with its fruity pear and pineapple appeal and understated buttery oaky notes. But where it excels is in the aftertaste, savoury, mineral-driven and almost delicately saline. A great alternative to white Burgundy and perfect in the sunshine! And the cat count… as always, joined by my feline friends. 🐈‍⬛
