Can't believe I had to Google how to make a dumpling squishy out of balloons. Could have kicked myself, its basically an inside down apple 🍎
I can do any theme, and if I have to work it out I WILL work it out 💪💛

We had a bit of a tidy-up yesterday outside the shop. The path was weeded. The hanging basket is back out with newly planted pots, and the bench got a good sanding and paint (thanks, Lesley 🫶). What do you think?

Took the big guy out for a run this afternoon with our much-anticipated "herding ball." It was smaller than I thought and only lasted about 6 minutes! 😥 ⚽😂

Also, don't forget I sell balloons 🎈 and greeting cards, and there's a post office where you can withdraw or deposit money (they don't charge). We need people coming in, so please follow my page and check out what we have. 🎈✉️🏧

I wonder how i made it to 50 years old some days 🙈 but if anyone would like a birthday balloon stack for a little girls first birthday, I made it a month early!

Increased business rates are making running the Sabden Post Office a struggle.

As an independent business, we are not immune to the rising cost pressures that the UK high street continues to face, with business rates causing a significant strain.

Our customers rely on us for access to essential services, where we play a vital role in keeping our local community connected.

Alongside our fellow postmasters, this financial year business rates are expected to collectively cost post offices £43 million – with an additional ~600 of us being brought into paying business rates compared to FY23/24.

We are joining others across our network to ask the Government to provide targeted business rate relief to help us continue serving our local community.

You can help us too by contacting our local MP on this issue to increase the chances of it being discussed in Parliament. We want to be able to continue to play our role in our community to support you for many more years to come so please do help.
